I have always lived my life like a race car. Always prepared to run, too fast to be caught, too powerful to stop. I can also obtain full damage if I wasn't careful enough.

Lady Dianhell taught me that life doesn't need a starting point to know if you need to move. Doesn't even need an ending flag to know you're going to die. She taught me a lot of things before giving me the power to hold something against the enemies: information.

When my cousin sold me to a human trafficker instead of his girlfriend, I was saved by two Zion Masters. Syne provided me protection since then and I was truly grateful for her overbearing care and concern. Meanwhile, Lady Dianhell provided me something that she said Syne doesn't want me to have.

"Xyriel really took you under her wing?" Iyon ang tinanong niya nang pumunta siya sa bahay namin isang araw matapos ang insidente sa undergound parking lot. She was all casual and her hair is strikingly beautiful in green. I couldn't take my eyes off it. Her head guard just stood immobile on his boss's side.

"We're friends now. Hihihi." I was too excited that day. Imagine, isang makapangyarihang mafia boss, ililigtas ako at nangako pang pababantayan ng ilang tauhan niya? I didn't sleep a wink that night, thinking about it.

Tumango-tango ang mafia boss. "Actually, I'm still surprised that she'd put up a fight for a mere girl. What does she have on you?"

"Oh, I don't think it's too important. But the facts that I was naturally clingy and I was forever her biggest fan were huddled up. I think she had no other choice but to keep me close."

My cheeks flushed red. "I-I'm not obsessed." I'm just the ultimate number one fan of the Gangster Queen! That doesn't count as obsessed.

"That's what I call it." Tumaas ang kilay ng bisita. "Either way, Xy seems to give me a back-off sign so I'm just going to do the talking. I'm told that I'm fucking harsh on my words. But when I want something for you to do, I want you to do it. When I want you to have something, you use it. Think of it as a token of apology and a peace offering for accidentally bringing you into this mess. Are you ready?"

"Sure. Whatever helps Syne, I'll gladly do it."

Back then, I was a simple school gossiper and self-proclaimed data researcher. But Lady Dianhell gave me a real occupation: an information broker.

The task is simple, obtain one data or two and sell them to parties who need it. Plain transaction. No attachments. No backroom deals. It was easy to move around the business industry when you've already put enough trust to the right people. But the mafia? It took me a lot of time and courage to get used to it.

"You'll never get used to it." Lady Dianhell had advised. "The black market transactions always differ from each group or family. It's your job to memorize, keep tabs, pull strings, whatever the fuck you want to do. I gave you the tool, use it wisely."

And I'm using it very well.

I want to be a very big help for Syne and her endeavors. But sometimes, she doesn't want me to let her know everything. She acknowledged, but she doesn't want me to push further.

Like this one case about Spade.

Ngayong natunton na nila ako sa school, kailangan ko na talagang kumilos para hindi nila pagtangkaan si Syne. Blaze told in his record that the ones who killed him is after one girl. And that's Lady Maxhein. I can't let them get to Syne first.
