Consumed, Destroyed, Devastated. All From Pain

I Am Freaking Awesome!!!

Cracking noises echoed through the endless trees, followed by my screams of pain. Every time I moved, and been when I didn't so anything, more pain ran up and down my spine. I hadn't even remembered it was my seventeenth birthday until the stupid alpha reminded me.

Well, he didn't exactly say it was my birthday. But he did tell me to go to the woods, obviously so nobody would hear me.

Another agonizing scream erupted from my throat, followed by several whimpers. Fur was starting to sprout on my arms, while they were bending and twisting, cracking and breaking into multiple painful positions.

Although, I couldn't see what color it was. My eyes were almost completely shut, my brain ready to collapse onto itself, and tears pooling in puddles in the dirt.

Don't worry Dear, it'll be over soon. I promise you that you'll be relieved of pain soon.

Woah! Who said that? The voice... So angelic, graceful even.... But where was it coming from? I've gotta run, before someone catches and beats me!

A soft chuckle echoed inside my head.

Darling, don't flatter me! And don't worry about being abused anymore. No one can lay a finger on you meaning harm from now on! The voice was definitely ticked off. But why? And WHAT IS THAT FREAKING VOICE ANYWAYS???

Suddenly, all the pain stopped. My body was wracking with sobs, or should I say, my Wolf's body.

Looking down, I saw dark, midnight purple paws, with an orange igniting like fire whenever the sunlight shined on the fur. It was like Pearlescent on a metallic painted car, just 3D! Just amazingly amazing. If that makes sense...

The tip of my ears were a glowing light blue, and my tail had faded dark red spirals all over, giving it a delicate but dangerous look. I was at least six inches over the average Alpha's wolf. But how the heck does that work?? I'm an omega!!

I padded over to a nearby pond, and lapped the water up greedily. The shifting had really taken its toll on me, thirst wise. But I surprisingly wasn't tired at all. I was ready to run free. When I looked at my reflection, I saw just how beautiful I am. A slim but strong face with a white muzzle, and bright purple eyes. Looking closer, there were also flecks of orange scattered about too.

As I was admiring myself in the pond, the voice came back.

Hello, I am your wolf, Kylie. Don't be afraid, I'm inside your head. I won't hurt you, and couldn't even if I tried.

Oddly enough, I wasn't scared or nervous. I was excited!! I had finally shifted and gotten my wolf, which will save me from my abusive pack-mates! And you know why?

When you first shift as a female or male, you find your mate!!! The one person in the universe that is destined to love you forever. You are theirs, and vice versa. And my mate will sweep me off my feet, and protect me from that stupid pack!

I decided trying to reply to my wolf. Kylie?

Haha, thanks. You too Kara. But I can't answer questions right now. We have to leave the Dark Shadow pack, ASAP. So shift back, and go pack your things at the pack house.

I quickly shifted back into my human form. Wait.... I still have my clothes on?? Weren't they supposed to shred into bits??

Yes, they were. But hurry! We don't have much time.

I was getting a bit skeptical on whether to listen or not. If I was caught, I would probably be killed!

Not that it doesn't sound appealing compared to my daily beatings.... But no, I should listen to Kylie. Besides, if I get hurt, so does she.

Once I reached my 'room' at the pack house, I grabbed a bag and started packing all my important things. I brought a few changes of clothes, my brush, my jewelry I kept well hidden, and my money that I kept under the floorboard.

Also, I managed to steal a credit card with a couple million on it too. Yeah, my pack was awful, but filthy stinking rich!

Do I leave a note? I asked Kylie. I wasn't sure I really wanted to. After all, it's not like anyone would care if I just left.

Don't bother, they don't deserve an explanation. They are beneath us, and will pay I. The future for their awful mistakes. She growled.

Man, I love my wolf already. She was feisty, protective, nice, and scary when she wanted to be!

Sneak out the back. Everyone is either downstairs or in their room. Kylie informed.

My breathing turned to panting as I made my way to the woods in the backyard. Was I really doing this? Could I really do this? I should just turn around now...

Not your best idea at the moment!

What could she possibly me...

Oh motherly god of awesome smells.... What is that? It smells Great!!! Like pine needles, river water, and... What was that, Linda??

Kylie and I growled at the thought. Wait... I just growled?!?! Jeez Louise, what's wrong with me?

Now you've really done it genius!!

I didn't understand why Kylie was so mad. What was her problem?

I turned around, determined to find that amazing scent. Quickly tossing my bag behind a tree where no one hopefully would notice it, and ran back to the back door.

No!! Turn around!! Go back!! Kylie howled.

But no, I had, HAD to find that tempting smell. Trusting my nose to guide me, I ended up turning a corner, bumping into Alpha Josh. Sparks instantly flew everywhere, and my eyes jumped to meet his.
