Bullies And Jaune

At Professor Goodwitch's sparring class, Peter watched as Jaune tried his best to defend against the leader of team CRDL, Cardin Winchester. Peter knew Jaune was going to lose as he was constantly charging instead of making a strategy to counter him. Peter sighed as Jaune was knocked to the ground before Cardin raised his hammer to strike him down before Goodwitch stopped the match.

"That's enough Cardin. As you all can see, Mr. Arc's aura is in the red. In a tournament style duel, this would mean he would be unfit for battle and pulled out immediately." The Professor explained before turning to her student.

"Mr. Arc, you should refer to your scroll from now on the gauge your aura. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowulf now, would we." She said as Cardin scoffed.

"Speak for yourself." He muttered. Peter clenched his fist tightly as Fawna noticed it.

"You alright Pete?" She asked. "I hate that guy so much." He said before releasing his fist.

"Join the club, he's been bullying humans and faunus alike. Trust me, he'll get his one day." Fawna replied as  they walked towards the entrance for lunch. Peter turned to see Jaune with his head down as Pyrrha walked next to him. Entering the large cafeteria, teams RWBY, RAIN, and JNPR sat next to each other.

"So, anything new and exciting for anyone?" Nora asked.

"Oh, the usual, sleep, wake up, eat, be tired, sleep, repeat. The usual." Terry replied, stuffing his face.

"Disgusting,, why must you act like a bear Kent?" Weiss asked.

"For your information Ice Queen, not everyone grew up with a silver spoon up their asses." Terry retorted, earning an angry glare from her.

"I mean, he's not wrong. A lot of us were raised differently Weiss." Blake chimed in.

"Well, I think my partner should at least learn some table manners. Granted we're in a cafeteria, but for future endeavors." Aaron chimed in. Peter laughed lightly before turning to see Jaune picking at his food. Ruby must've caught on as she spoke first.

"Jaune, is everything alright?" She asked, gaining everyone's attention. Jaune glanced at Ruby and nodded.

"What me? Pssh, I'm fine guys. See " He said holding a thumbs up, forcing a smile.

"Jaune you know if you need help you can just ask." Pyrrha spoke.

"Yeah man, we've been here for 4 weeks now. We're practically family." Terry said wrapping his arms around Fawna and Ren.

"I guess you're right, it's Cardin." Jaune admitted.

"He's been bullying you, right?" Peter spoke.

"Yeah, but he does it to everyone, not just me." Jaune said trying to end the conversation. A yelp of pain could be heard as everyone turned to see Cardin grabbing a bunny faunus by the ear as she tried to leave. Peter felt his hands clench as he stood abruptly and turned to the bully.

"Peter, it's not worth it really." Jaune said, trying to ease the man away. Peter ignored him as he walked over to Cardin and grabbed his wrist.

"Let. Her. Go." He said slowly, glaring at the manchild. Cardin released the bunny girl as Peter threw his arm down and turned to the faunus girl.

"Hey, you alright miss?" Peter asked. The girl glanced up and smiled shyly.

"Yeah, just a small bruise on my ear. It'll be normal tomorrow, just hurts though." She replied. Peter turned back to see Cardin smirking at the two.

"Didn't know Nerd Parker held a soft spot for animals." He proclaimed.

"Didn't know Winchester bullied girls." Peter retorted, the bully glaring at him.
