The emnating purple crystals surrounding the black goo gave an unnerving aura as a Beowolf crawled out, the good dripping from it's fur before snarling as Mercury and Emerald watched, the two frightened.

Behind the duo is seated four individuals and an empty throne.

The occupants, the new Maiden Cinder Fall, the crazed faunus Tyrian, the Atlesian scientist Arthur Watts, and secluded Hazel Rainhart.

Emerald and Mercury walk back to Cinder as Emerald shoves Merc back to be next to Cinder, Arthur scoffs.

"Yes keep your posse back." He remarks as Mercury growls and moves forward before Emerald held him back.

"You hear that? Silence." Watts chuckles as Hazel gives a sideways glance.

"I'd have a mind to thank the little girl and boy that bested you." Watts scoffed.

"If I were you, I'd hunt her down. Find her and well, she took your eye didn't she?" Tyrian snickers.

Cinder only stares at Tyrian as the faunus cackles. She tried to retort, only to give out struggled exhale noises.

"Pathetic, why did you even-" Watts started before the metal doors flung open as Salem walks forward, the occupants stood as the Queen of the Grimm made her way to the throne before seating, gesturing for the others to sit.

"Watts, do you find such malignance necessary?" Salem asks as Watts freezes a bit.

"I apologize, ma'am. I'm not particularly fond of failure." Watts replied cautiously.

"Then I see no reason for your cruelty towards young Cinder. She's become our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower, killed the hero SpiderMan, and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring?" Salem asked again.

"Well, the girl with the Silver Eyes." Watts finished as Salem sighs.

"Yes, we've dealt with their kind before. How is it a novice was able to best one of us?" Hazel speaks.

"My thoughts exactly." Watts chimed in.

"It is because of the Maiden's power. Make no mistake, Cinder, you hold the key to our victory. But your newfound strength brings with it a crippling weakness. Which is why you will remain by my side as we continue your treatment." Salem explained a Cinder remains unhappy about this and lowers her head. Emerald looks at her in sympathy.

"Dr. Watts, you are to take Cinder's place and meet with our informant in Mistral." Salem said

"Very good." Watts nods.

"Tyrian, I want you to continue your hunt for the Spring Maiden." Salem turned to Tyrian.

"Gladly." The faunus replied, laughing a bit.

"And Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same." Salem finished.

"As you wish." Hazel replied reluctantly.

Cinder raises a finger. Emerald fails to notice this gesture for a moment.

"Oh!" Emerald leans in to hear Cinder rasp into her ear as Emerald straightens.

"Speak, child." Salem nods.

"She wants to know...What about the girl?" She replied hesitantly.

"What about her? Seems to me that this is Cinder's problem, not ours." Watts scoffed as Cinder slams her fist onto the table and glares at Watts, who grins at her.
