~Ozpin's Tower~

Staring out the window, the headmaster watched as Atlesian ships had entered Vale, contemplating on how to best handle the situation.

"Ironwood certainly likes bringing his work with him wherever he goes." Glynda said.

"I agree." Ozpin simply said before a soft tone echoed through the room.

"Come in." Ozpin said as he stood to see the man of Atlas, General James Ironwood walking in wearing a pristine white uniform, another by his side wearing a uniform similar to his.

"Ozpin, it's great to see you." Ironwood said as he approached the desk to shake hands with his friend.

"Glynda, you're looking lovely as ever." James chimed in.

"Oh James. I'll be outside." Glynda said before leaving.

"She hasn't changed at all." James replied with a chuckle.

"And I you James. Who is this?" Ozpin asked.

"Well, because of what Qrow said, I brought my best to Vale." James said.

"Well, the public is uneasy what with Atlas's military covering our airspace. A simple email would've sufficed." Ozpin replied.

"Headmaster, we fully respect your decision, but given the circumstances, it'd be best if we were given control of security." One man said.

"And who might you be?" Ozpin asked.

"I am Lieutenant Scott, I am the leader of the Unit sir." Scott said.

"Ah yes, your fabled legendary Unit. I've heard about your squad, I do believe a former member is currently enrolled here." Ozpin said as Scott gritted his teeth.

"Yes, I've heard about Mr. Richards. It's a shame he left the Unit, he was a staple for the team." He spoke.

"Yes I'm sure he was. Now then, James, mind explaining to me why you have the Atlas military parading around Vale and Beacon? I know it's not for an act." Ozpin asked.

"If what Qrow said was true, then we need to be ready." James said.

"If what he said is true, then we'll need to wait for them to make their move. If we show up like this, then they will know someone is looking for them. Making it even more pressing for us. We will handle this tactically." Ozpin reasoned.

"But..." Ironwood started before Ozpin silenced him.

"Its the Vytal Festival, a time of peace and prosperity. To celebrate unity and peace. So let's not scare innocent people by transporting hundreds of soldiers across the continent." Ozpin replied.

"I'm just being cautious." James said.

"As am I. Which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can." Ozpin said.

"Believe me, I am. But ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe your children can win a war?" Ironwood asked before leaving Ozpin with Scott.

"I hope they never have to." Ozpin said when he was alone.

~Library~

"Man I wish I could play games." Terry grumbled as he held a '10 ways to engage Aura' book.

"This will help us not only in battle but also on surprise pop quizzes, you know how Professor Port and Oobleck are." Aaron reasoned.

"Yeah, sure it'll be on a test. Like everything we read has a 50 percent chance of being on it." Terry replied.
