~Oscar~
Oscar stared at the green travel bag he had assembled overnight, weary of if he should or should not go. It wasn't just Ozpin who was persuading him, but he felt a sense of clarity that he SHOULD go.
Staring at his home, Oscar stood with his travel bag securely on his back before turning and walking away as he made his way through the plains of his former home.
"I'm sorry." Ozpin apologised, feeling his hosts doubt.
"You know... the weirdest part is how it feels. Leaving home is crazy. Going to the city is crazy. Everything you've told me is completely crazy. But it doesn't feel crazy anymore. It feels like I'm doing the right thing." Oscar replied.
"Well... I suppose that's good." Ozpin agrees.
"No. It's scary." The boy replied as Ozpin frowned internally.
"I understand your fear Oscar, I too was afraid in the beginning as well. But over time, I've learned to live with the looming fear, to fight against it, to protect the ones who can't protect themselves. Heh, a certain web slinger once told me that." Ozpin said before noticing the message as the continued in silence.
Making their way to a train station, thunder clouds had formed as rain battered the land.
Making his way to the metal sheet that protected the small piece of concrete from the element, Oscar stood in front of a mechanical ticket dispenser.
He was greeted with,
"Welcome, please scan Lien to begin!"
Holding a card to the machine, he was again greeted with a red warning.
"ERROR
Unable to complete request.
REASON GIVEN:
Insufficient Funds (Code: 726)"
Oscar sighed and closed his eyes.
"Stupid thing. I'm assuming whatever weird magic this is doesn't come with an infinite supply of money?" Oscar asked.
"I'm afraid you'll have to solve this one on your own." Ozpin chuckled before growing silent and alert.
"Be on your guard." He warned Oscar as the boy froze as steps could be heard past the thunder of the sky.
"Here." The unmistakable gruff voice of Hazel Rainhart spoke.
Oscar turned to see the towering man walk over and raise his fist, earning a shocked squeak from the young boy as he slams the machine and denting it. A small ticket pops out and flutters to the ground as Hazel turns and leaves.
Halfway to the train, he stops and turns to the boy.
"Don't let such a small obstacle block your path." Hazel says before resuming his way to the grey train that awaits the two as Oscar watches him.
"That man. I felt... Who is he?" Oscar asked as A train horn is heard in the distance.
"Someone from my past. Someone who should not be taken lightly." Ozpin replied.
The two make their way onto the train, away from the dangerous man as Oscar sits in an empty area as more passengers entered.
"This should get us to Mistral, right?"
~Team RNJR~
Continuing down the path, Ruby, Qrow, and Jaune trudged forward as Qrow was fully covered in the Iron Spider suit.
