~Ruby~

SpiderMan crouched on the building as he watched the scene unfold. Penny had stopped a truck with her bare hands, leaving Ruby unscathed. Penny turned and ran as Ruby chased after.

"Whoa, not the first time I've seen something like that." Spidey quipped as he jumped down and swung after the two girls before dropping down behind them.

"SpiderMan! Oh, what are you doing here?" Ruby asked.

"Well, I could ask the same Little Red. Your friend here stopped the force of a moving truck from hitting you. I'm just curious as to how." SpiderMan spoke. He turned to Penny as the girl looked down in shame before Ruby grasped her shoulder and nodded.

"Its okay Penny, we're friends here." She said.

"I'm not a real girl Ruby." Penny said. "What do you mean?" Spidey asked.

"I'm not a real person. I'm the world's first synthetic person capable of generating an Aura. I'm not real." Penny said showing her scraped up hands to see metal underneath her skin.

"Whoa." Ruby said as she stared at them. Penny shifted uncomfortably before feeling hands wrap around hers. Glancing up, she saw Ruby holding her hands with a smile on her face.

"Of course you are. You really think having nuts and bolts than squishy guts makes you different than me or him." Ruby said.

"Um, you are taking this really well." Penny said looking at her.

"You're not like those things we saw. You've got a heart and I can feel it." Ruby spoke as she poked her chest.

"Oh Ruby, you're the best friend anyone could have!" Penny cheered as she pulled her into a tight hug.

"I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower!" Ruby strained under the robotic girls hug.

"Oh you would love him! He's amazing." Penny praised as she released the girl.

"You two have it from here then? Cuz I kinda webbed up the two guards chasing you." Spidey said as Penny turned to him.

"They're okay, they only care for my safety really. I'll release them. You guys can go on ahead." Penny replied.

"Alright, have a good day kids." Spidey said before swinging away. Coming to the top of the buildings, another flashback played, this time it was of a group of people similar to him, fighting off large human-monsters. Landing on the building, he removed his mask as he sighed.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Shine asked.

"I'm guessing, my memories are being purged or something. I, what is going on?" Peter asked aloud.

~Yang~

In the ruined side of town, an engine rumbled down the road before pulling in to park in front of a dance club. Yang pulled out the kickstand with her foot as Neptune remained in a petrified state as the blonde got off.

"C'mon, my friend's inside." Yang said with a smirk.

"Cool." Neptune said before Terry jumped down.

"Told ya Bumblebee was faster Catboy." Yang said as she turned to him.

"Its a motorized vehicle. My semblance makes me lighter, not faster like Red." Terry complained as be straightened out his coat.

"Well let's go." Yang ushered the two as she walked to the entrance.

Two guards rushed into the building before shutting the doors as the bartender turned to the commotion in confusion.
