"Are you sure about this?" Penny asked.

"Peter isn't here and the world needs Spider-Man again." Summer replied holding a new mask she created, it being colored red, black, and a hint of purple.

Her outfit was essentially the same but with a dark shade of purple.

"Do you think you can correctly copy Peter's moves?" Penny wavered as Summer placed the mask on.

"Like Peter said, it's a leap of faith." Summer replied as she stood atop the clock tower in Vale.

A few months after the Fall of Beacon, Vale was still trying to gain control of the city. The Grimm infestation was still large, but Vale was slowly gaining control, day by day.

"Leap of faith."

"I calculated the odds and there is a 3/6 chance of successfully web slinging." Penny pointed out.

"You're not helping." Summer said as she jumped a bit, the clanking of Peter's shield and sharpened sword she scavenged from the Amity Coliseum audible.

Opening her eyes, she took a few steps back before running forward as the wind rushed passed her, jumping from the tower.

She closed her eyes before the months of studying Peter kicked in as she shot a web forward, the line sticking to a nearby building as it snapped straight, allowing Summer to swing forward. Firing another web, she continued swinging, gaining attention of a few civilians and Grimm.

Summer swings downtown before noticing a pack of Beowolves trying to enter a home.

Jumping behind the monsters, she grabbed the sword and activated her shield and took a stance as the monsters turned to see the masked vigilante.

"C'mon then, show me what you got." Summer demanded as one Beowulf, the Alpha, roared and charged as SpiderMan charged after, meeting the monster head on.

She slid under the monster, slicing its legs as she charged the minor beowolves. Making quick work of the minor Grimm, she focused her attention to the Alpha who growled in pure hate.

"Peter?" A female voice spoke as Summer turned to see Pyrrha and Professor Goodwitch staring at him.

"Not quite." Summer replied before charging the large beast as she slammed her shield into the monster's snout and delivered a combo of slashes before finishing it off with a jab through it's skull.

As the monster disintegrated, Summer turned to the two Huntresses before being hugged from a relieved and distraught Pyrrha.

"I, I thought you were dead!" Pyrrha said as Summer felt tears soak her uniform.

"I'm glad you're okay to Pyrrha." Summer replied as Pyrrha and Glynda stared at him.

"What happened? Weiss told us you were killed before she left with her father." Glynda asked.

"Well, Peter did die, but I survived." Summer said.

"What are you talking about?" Pyrrha questioned.

"Peter never told you about me and I asked him to, my name is Summer Rose. I am Ruby and Yang's mother." Summer admitted as Glynda recoiled a bit.
