Maya's funeral was held a week after her death. Her family and friends were there mourning as we remembered the life of an amazing girl. I met her best friend, Isabella and became friends with her as a way to always have Maya close to me since I knew how close of friends they were. She'd always tell me how great of a friend Maya was for her.
As for other aspects of my life, I moved away after Maya's parents removed her items from her apartment. I went back to acting school to pursue a career in acting. I signed with an agent and had done some TV/Film work as well as a ton of theater work, and have gotten some friends out of it as well. I got myself into music, specifically the piano, and try to learn a new song every day-if not every other day. I try keeping myself as busy as I possibly can by doing things I find myself interested in.
Not a day goes by when I don't think of Maya. I visit her as often as I can, but I know she's always with me regardless. I don't think I will ever find a girl quite like her in this lifetime who will give me what she gave me. She was a mess of gorgeous and chaos, and I fell in love with both.

AUTHOR'S NOTE-Hi!
Ah a year later and she is complete! It is 2:47 am and I just completed a novel. It feels great to say that! Thank you to everyone who has been on this book journey with me and if you're new, welcome! Hi! How are ya? I hope you enjoyed reading this novel as much as I enjoyed writing it! It was super hard for me to kill off Maya, but I had to keep in mind that not all stories have happy endings. (Also that this type of love only happens in books and movies-right?? haha) What did you guys think of that ending, and the book overall? Let me know. I'm open to any questions, comments, and/or concerns! xx
