CHAPTER ]9[

Author's POV

Sehun never felt being loved or getting enough love from anyone since he was born.

He was facing a lot of problems in his life. He had enough of hard life.

When he felt like his life was normal, one incident suddenly happened that caused his life messed up again.

Sehun was always dreaming to have a one happy marriage with someone he love and they could live happily together.

But never he expected to have it this early and be with someone he never expected to meet.

Here he was right now, sitting nervously at the cafe with a little boy on his laps.

"Mommy, where is daddy?," Taeoh sounded while pouting his lips.

Sehun sighed. "He will be here soon," stroking over Taeoh's hair gently.

Yuri, the lady just left few minutes ago as she said she had urgent works to take care of.

Leaving him with a request from her, asking to take care of Taeoh while waiting for his daddy.

She said that her son would be here to take Taeoh.

Sehun exhaled sharply before glancing at his wrist watch. Luckily his work shift already ended few minutes ago.

So, he could be more comfortable to wait.

His stare softened as he looked down at Taeoh. He was thinking whether he did a right decision on this.

While he was in his deep thought, someone entered the cafe with still in his work suit.

"Sorry, I'm late," Sehun startled as the deep and soothing voice broke the long silence.

He looked up and saw the elder guy in his work suit, while smiling handsomely at his son.

Taeoh smiled widely as he saw his daddy. "Daddy! Why is daddy so late?," he pouted, pulling out his arms to let Kai took him.

Kai took the little boy from Sehun, before taking his seat in the empty seat in front of Sehun.

"Sorry, daddy has lots of works to do," he uttered, glancing slightly at Sehun and noticed the guy was startling.

Sehun bit his lips nervously. He admitted he felt a slight scared to meet Kai? He didn't know why.

"It's okay, mommy is with Taeoh," Taeoh exclaimed before a pecking a kiss on his daddy's cheek.

Kai smiled fondly as he heard that. His son looked very comfortable while calling Sehun with mommy.

He hoped this was the right decision he did.

"Relax, I won't bite you," Kai's words made Sehun choked his own saliva. How could this guy knew he was afraid.

He stuttered as be truckled down his head. "Sorry," he muttered.

Kai didn't reply, he looked at Taeoh and his son was already sleepy. He kept rubbing his eyes.

"Mommy," he sounded, gesturing for Sehun to take him.

Sehun automatically took him from Kai and put him comfortably inside his arms.

He smiled, stroking Taeoh's hair to make him asleep before pecking a light kiss on his forehead.

Not realising there was still another person there, looking at the interaction.

Kai remained silent, but slowly his lips curled up.

"Sehun, can I talk to you? Or do you have any urgent things?," he questioned after making sure Taeoh was asleep in Sehun's arms.

Sehun shook his head as a response for the question. "No, and sure."

"I believe my mother already met you and told you about the thing I want to talk about," Kai, straightly to the point told what he wanted to talk about.

Sehun nodded without even looking at Kai as he didn't have enough courage to do that.

"Honestly, I accepted it because of Taeoh and I will do anything to make sure he is happy," the elder uttered again while his eyes were looking at the sleeping Taeoh.

Sehun felt his heart twinged but he knew himself, he realised that he was nothing. "Yes, I understand."

"You are still a student right?," Kai asked, crossing his arms on his chest while looking at Sehun.

Sehun lifted his head and looked up at Kai's face. "Y-Yes, I am."

"Don't worry, you can still go to your college as usual," Sehun felt relieved to hear that. That meant he didn't have to ditch his college after marriage.

He pulled a smile. "Thank you," he muttered audibly.

"But I want you to stop working, you will just be staying at home and take care of Taeoh so you don't need to work," Kai explained it without even changing his face expression. Still in his cold, icy face and voice tone.

Sehun wanted to protest but as he saw the expression on Kai's face, he finally just agreed on it.

"You will not have any problem, and I can make sure you will have more than enough money," Kai said, and he noticed the uneasiness on Sehun's face.

He knew this was too sudden for Sehun but for himself too.

"I understand," he nodded slowly with a force smile.

Sehun hugged Taeoh who was inside his arms, trying to get some loves from the hug.

Kai huffed. He felt pity for Sehun, but still he needed times to accept a person back into his life.

He just wanted to make sure the same thing would never happen again, it was so hurting for him.

He didn't want Taeoh to feel it. He would make sure no one could hurt his only son and maybe his wife soon?
"Sehun, where do you live?," Kai's sudden question made Sehun dumbstrucked.

He never expected the guy would ask him this kind of question.

"I-I rent a house, not far from the city," he replied. Kai looked like he was thinking for a while.

"You live alone?," Sehun responded the question with a slight nodded.

"I will send you home."

Sehun startled. Not like he didn't want to bring Kai to his house. But he was a bit embarrassed?

Yeah, his house was not as big as the guy's mansion.

"B-But it's far from the town," he tried to give reasons but Kai looked at him with a frown.

"You just said it is not far away from here?," and that time Sehun really wanted to curse himself badly. How could he be like this?

Kai silently grinned as he saw that, he stood up from his seat.

"Let's go now," he said shortly before leaving Sehun behind and walked out of the cafe.

Sehun was left dumbfounded. He quickly stood up and carried Taeoh, while trying to catch up the elder's steps.

"Where are we going?," he uttered, as he finally could catch up.

Kai stopped at his car, opening the door for Sehun to get in. "Your house," he said.

Before Sehun could say anything, Kai already looked at him with his cold stare.

Sehun sealed his lips, not brave to say anything anymore.

He could just sighed.
