Author's POV

Kai was now sitting on the sofa in the living room while watching television, with Taeoh who was busy with his toys.

He decided to stay at home today as he was busy with his works and didn't have time to spent with his small family.

"Daddy," his attention moved to his son and saw him climbing up the sofa to him, leaving all his toys.

He ruffled the little boy's hair gently before pulling him to sit on his lap. "Why, hm?," he asked as Taeoh was pouting.

"Where is mommy?," the little boy asked while leaning his head against his daddy's chest.

Kai chuckled as he heard that. Taeoh couldn't even let Sehun stay away from him.

"Taeoh miss mommy?," he asked while pecking a light kiss on his cheeks.

Taeoh nodded while looking up at his father. "Taeoh wants mommy," he started to whine and his eyes became teary.

"Mommy will get home later okay? Taeoh cannot cry," Kai tried to comfort his son, wiping away the tears from those small droopy eyes.

Taeoh slowly nodded even with his lips pouting in annoyance. He really missed his mommy.

Kai sighed. He remembered that Sehun told him that he was going out with Baekhyun and Kyungsoo for a while after his classes ended.

He gave the permission as he knew Sehun didn't even have times for his friends recently, he was busy with Taeoh.

As he was comforting Taeoh while ruffling his head softly, his phone rang out of sudden.

Kai frowned as he glanced at the caller's name and Chanyeol's name was on the screen.

He took his phone and slid the call icon to answer it. "Hello?," he uttered.

"Kai, I need to tell you something!," he could hear Chanyeol's voice from the other side and he was kind of in hurry.

"What's wrong, Yeol?," Kai questioned as he looked worried, Chanyeol sounded like it was really important.

"I was on my way to meet Baekhyun and I see Taeyong is with them right now," Chanyeol straightly told Kai about what he just saw, he was still outside of the cafe and he saw them from here.

He was shocked at first to see Taeyong was there as well and decided to stay at his place to call Kai, informing him before any bad things could happen.

Chanyeol was still glancing at them, watching what Taeyong was doing. "What?! Where are you now?," he heard Kai's shock voice.

Kai stood up from his seat with Taeoh inside his arms who was looking at his daddy confusedly.

He could see Kai's face was full of worried and anger.

"I will text you the place, you need to come as fast as you could," Chanyeol stated and Kai quickly cut off the phone call before storming out from his house towards his car.

Taeoh, who was still in his arms, could only remained silent while looking at his daddy.

"Daddy, what's wrong?," he slowly asked while trying to touch his father's feature, calming him.

Kai stopped and moved his attention to his only son who was with his scared expression.

"We will meet mommy, okay?," he uttered with his soft voice, trying to calm his son.
