CHAPTER ]14[

Author's POV

Taeoh's loud voice stopped them from their activity and seriously they were afraid if they little boy might see it.

"Mommy, Taeoh is hungry," he whined, and his short legs sprinted to his mommy.

They had no idea the little boy was still awake. Kai slowly stood up from Sehun, and rubbed his nape awkwardly.

"Ah, daddy is here too?," the young guy could feel his body stiffened as his son realised he was there.

Sehun truckled down his burning face and snatched his towel and the clothes into the bathroom.

"Ish, where is mommy going?," Taeoh pouted his lips as his mommy just went into the bathroom without talking to him first.

"Mommy needs to take a shower first, so let's go with daddy," Kai sounded and was about to carry Taeoh but he was struggling inside his arms.

He pouted. "Taeoh wants to wait for mommy, daddy can go first."

Kai sighed deeply and went out from the room afterwards, leaving Taeoh to wait for his mommy.

He just needed times alone? after the thing they almost did just now.

Sehun went out from the bathroom few minutes later, with the clothes that was already wrapping around his body.

"Mommy," he looked up and saw Taeoh was running towards him.

He smiled fondly and carried Taeoh into his arms, pecking a kiss on his chubby cheeks.

"Mommy, Taeoh is really hungry," he was whining, and even pouted his lips.

Sehun chuckled as a reply. "Let's go and eat something first," he said and soon both of them went out from the room.

He really thought Taeoh was already asleep as it was really late right now, but maybe it was fine.

They were joking around and laughing together along the way to the kitchen.

"Taeoh, you are not asleep yet?," they both became silent and looked at the direction where the voice came from.

Taeoh replied with wide smile, showing his white teeth. "Taeoh is hungry, daddy."

Kai sighed as he heard that, he just remembered Taeoh didn't eat anything yet so that's why the little boy was hungry.

He glanced at Sehun at the back and saw the exhausted expression from him, but he covered up with his sweet smile.

"Come with daddy, let your mommy rest first," he uttered and tried to take Taeoh from Sehun.

Sehun gasped a he heard that and his lips slowly curled up.

"It's okay Kai Hyung, I can still cook for Taeoh," he said and tried to smile sweetly.

"Are you sure? You can just rest first, I will take care of Taeoh," the elder stated, looking at him.

Sehun nodded as a response. "Taeoh, mommy will cook for you first okay?."

Taeoh nodded with his smile and let his daddy took him from his mommy, and went to the living room.

Kai snorted. He had no idea why Sehun was so kind, he was obviously tired but he still wanted to cook for Taeoh.

"Daddy, mommy will live with us forever right?," Taeoh questioned, lifting up his face to look up at his daddy.

Kai looked down at his son and was silent for few seconds before he unsurely nodded.

"Taeoh wants mommy to live here with us?," he asked while stroking over his son's hair gently.

Taeoh nodded excitedly. "Yes! Taeoh wants mommy to live here forever because Taeoh wants mommy to be with Taeoh and daddy!."

Kai curved a fond smile as a responds of his son's words.

"Mommy is really kind and beautiful, that's why Taeoh loves mommy," the little boy uttered, smiling widely at his father.

Kai frowned, did he just say Sehun was beautiful? He chuckled lightly. Well it was actually true.

"But mommy is a guy," he teased his only son and received a pouty lips from the little boy.

"Mommy is still beautiful, ish daddy!," he crossed his arms and glared at his own daddy, really looked like him.

Kai laughed as a response and ruffled the soft hair of his only son. He was so overprotective to his mommy.

"Kai Hyung, lets eat?," the soft voice sounded, making Kai turned around and changed to his common expression.

He nodded and stood up with Taeoh inside his arms.

"Mommy," Taeoh exclaimed excitedly, and pulled out his hand to let Sehun took him.

"Let's eat," Sehun smiled fondly and plopped down on the chair right in front of Kai.

Kai was eating his food in silent while his eyes were watching the interaction of his son and Sehun.

"I will go to office tomorrow, and you will stay with Taeoh at home cause it's your work right?," Kai stated without even looking at Sehun.

Sehun's body stiffened for few seconds before he slowly nodded, swallowing the hurt feelings.

"Yes, I understand."

Sehun huffed before continued feeding Taeoh, and the little boy seemed like he was already sleepy.

Kai suddenly stops up from his seat and put the dishes he used into the sink before approaching them.

"I will go to sleep first, good night son," he uttered and pecked a kiss on Taeoh's cheeks before sprinted to his own room.

Sehun sighed deeply afterwards, he cleaned up the table and carried Taeoh to his room.

He smiled as he saw his peaceful Taeoh was while sleeping, he looked calm.

"Sleep well, Taeoh," he muttered, before slowly tears started flowing down his cheeks.

"Why are you crying, Oh Sehun?," he chuckled lightly while tears was still flowing down.

He wiped away the tears and pecked a light and long kiss on Taeoh's forehead.

"I thought I could get maybe a little attention in this house, but I was really dumb to be hoping for that," he chuckled and still wiping away the tears that was still on his cheeks.

He sighed deeply. "I will be here, for you until you don't need me anymore," he muttered to the sleeping Taeoh.

A warm smile was on his face before he laid down and fall asleep while hugging Taeoh.

While no one knew, Kai was there. He was at the door since just now and he heard everything.

He sighed heavily. "What should I do?."

He felt pity over Sehun. He didn't want and was not ready yet to fall in love again.

He just afraid if he would get hurt again.
