Author's POV

Sehun still remained silent with his droopy eyes.

"Baby, I'm here with you so you don't have to worry," Kai stated and grabbed Sehun's hand to hold it tight, tilting his head to meet the younger's eyes.

"B-But what if he comes back to take me away from you?," Sehun stammered, while his eyes still shaking out of fear.

Kai furrowed and tried to curl up a smile, to comfort Sehun. "Hey don't worry okay? No one will ever take you away from me."

Sehun released a heavy sigh. "You promise that you will never leave me?," he questioned.

Kai nodded with his charming smile. "I promise, don't worry," he uttered softly while his hand moved to wipe away the tears from Sehun's cheek.

He didn't have to ask Sehun about Yeonseok as he already knew everything. He would just let Sehun openly told him everything if he wanted.

"I won't force you to tell me, just tell me when you're ready," he stated before pecking a light and fond kiss on the younger's forehead.

Sehun felt relieved, he felt glad as finally someone cared about him. He never felt this way before.

But Kai, gave him the feelings. He cared about him, he took care of him and never let him felt alone.

Even though at first it was hard for both of them, but slowly and surely things changed.

"T-Thank you, Jongin," Sehun muttered. It was still awkward to just call Kai like that. They have like 9 years age difference.

Kai chuckled and wrapped the wife in a tight hug. "From now on, straightly tell me if you find anything suspicious."

Sehun nodded and responded with a humming.

"You're ugly when you cry, so dont cry anymore," Kai stated, pulling out his cold face to tease his wife.

The younger looked up, thinking it was a joke but ended up crying again to see the expression on Kai's face.

Kai laughed out while trying to pull Sehun into a hug again. "I'm just joking, baby."

Sehun was still sobbing while his lips pouted. "I thought you were mad at me," he muttered.

"How can I be mad at you if you are this cute," the elder stated and gently pushed Sehun's neck closer before crashing their lips together.

He pressed their lips into a deeper kiss, licking over his bottom lips and shoved his tongue into Sehun's mouth.

"You're beautiful," he uttered as soon as they broke the kiss, looking right on Sehun's face and admired the pretty face.

A flush crept up Sehun's face as he heard that. He buried his reddened face on Kai's broad chest.

"Where's Taeoh?," he questioned as he remembered that he didn't see Taeoh since just now.

"He's with Chanyeol, don't worry, he will be safe with him," Kai responded, while his other hand was stroking Sehun's hair softly.

Sehun nodded. "Have you eaten?," he asked, just remembered that he didn't prepare the lunch for them yet just now.

"Not yet," Kai said and was followed by a grumbling sound.

Sehun lifted his head and he felt guilty all of sudden. "Sorry," he mouthed.

"It's fine, baby," Kai grinned.
