Author's POV

"Be careful, Jongin," Sehun reminded with his soft voice and leaded Kai to sit on the sofa.

Kai's lips curled up as he heard that. He slowly sat down and patted the empty place beside him, hinting for Sehun to sit.

After few days in the hospital, Kai could finally go home as his condition was getting better.

"Still hurt?," Sehun asked worriedly, placing his hand gently on Kai's wound.

Kai nodded with his smile. "It's getting better, don't worry," he said and slowly leaned his body.

"Jongin?," Sehun slowly called out as he leaned his head against Kai's chest, snuggling into his arms.

Kai furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Yes, baby?," he asked while his hand moved to ruffle Sehun's hair.

"Can I ask you something?," he questioned and lifted his head to look up at his husband.

Kai nodded. "What is it?," he frowned.

Sehun was still unsure whether to say it out or not, but if he didn't then it would be getting worse.

"Don't you think Taeyong really meant it when he said he regret?," he finally said it, grasping his fist as he was waiting if Kai might be mad.

Kai huffed as a response. "I will never forgive someone like him," he said.

Sehun sighed deeply. "He planned all these with Yeonseok to kidnap you!," Kai exclaimed in anger.

"Jongin, Taeyong doesn't have anything to do with this plan. He even helped me that time," Sehun tried to utter slowly, helding Kai's hand to calm him.

"Do you think I will trust him?," the elder scoffed. His face was showing that all his words were firm.

Sehun bit his bottom lips. "But at least, you need to let him meet Taeoh," those words made Kai stood up from his seat.

He clinched his teeth in anger. "Never! I won't let me son meet him at all!," he yelled out.

Sehun was startled. "B-But Jongin no matter what, he's still Taeoh's mother and I'm not," he really felt the slight hurt as he said those.

Kai scoffed. "Mother? You are his mother and no one else!," as he said those he sprinted into the room.

Sehun released a heavy sigh, he was actually waiting to discuss about this nicely.

But the guy couldn't control his emotions. He understood how would Kai felt, but at least he wanted to help Taeyong to meet Taeoh.

He finally decided to just enter the kitchen and cook their meal, he need to let Kai cool down first.

As he entered, his phone suddenly rang and Yuri's name was on the screen.

"Hello?," he uttered while his hand moved to take the ingredients.

The excited voice from the another side made him curled up his lips. "Mommy! Taeoh is here," the little boy exclaimed.

"Where is Taeoh now?," he questioned while smiling all the way.

"At granny's house!," Taeoh replied. Just now he was whining to go with Yuri to her house and promised his parents to be a good boy there.

Sehun chuckled. "Taeoh is being good to granny right?," he asked softly.

"Yes! Taeoh promised mommy," the little boy sounded so excited and Sehun could not help but to feel it too.
"Mommy will cook lots of fried chicken for Taeoh and daddy, so Taeoh needs to come home early," he chuckled as he heard the whining from his son from the side.
