He then spoke "I'll talk to you later, I have a meeting now. Goodbye and don't let me down."

He cut the call and I sighed. I have to get Ashely back as soon as possible.

Chapter 14 🥀

Ashleys pov...

After mopping around in Summer's house for a while, I realised he wasn't worth my tears. So I packed my stuff and called Tyler for a lift. He came minutes after.

I unfailingly noticed his bandaged knuckles but pretended I didn't as he drove me home. I know him to engage in lots of fights.

I also noticed a splat of blood in his white t-shirt. "It's Jason's blood right?"

He nodded slowly, anticipating what my reaction will be.

"Serves him right." I muttered under my breath as I looked at the dashboard.

I could see Tyler smirk through my pheripheral vision "I thought you'll be mad at me."

Waving dismissively, I said "Nah, he deserved it, just as long as he isn't dead."

"With the damage I made, he'll be bleeding to death.''

I rolled my eyes as Tyler boasted.

But Tyler warned me, and I didn't heed. I preferred to follow a stranger I met a few days ago over my own blood brother who might be a little annoying - okay, alot annoying - but will never want any harm towards me. The only thing descent enough to do now was to apologize.

I sighed, ready to take the blame even though it will wound my ego.

"Tyler, I'm sorry."

"Hmm?" He hummed in question, his voice laced with amusement. He likes it when I apologise to something I did wrong - which I don't like doing - and he is enjoying right now.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm sorry. I should've heed your warning but then I turned a blind eye on you, sorry Ty."

"It's alright." He said, "All good between us, just don't be in the same room with that sonofabitch again."

"Sure thing Ty, you don't need to tell me that. I know that's what I'm supposed to do. I'm planning on forgetting he exists." I said, sincerely trying to erase all Jason related memories from my mind.

"Good girl." Tyler mused.

***

Life was boring. Okay let me rephrase that. Life after highschool before college was boring. I've applied to a few universities and still haven't gotten any feedback yet. The admission lists aren't out yet.

And nothing fancied me in Tv, Ariel is in school, Mom and Dad are at work, I'm too lazy to go to Summer's house. Only Tyler - who was holed up in his room playing video games - was home with me.

I walked into the kitchen, making myself a quick peanut butter sandwich and made it a goal to annoy Tyler.

Making my way to his room, I walked in without Knocking or warning so even if he was standing Stark naked - which I thank lord he isn't - I would have walked in to him. And he hates when I don't Knock.

"Ashley whats wrong with you." Tyler yelled, sitting on a bean bag with a controller in hand and a bag of chips lay on his lap.

I weaved through his cluttered room where every piece of clothing he owned took refuge on the floor.

Tyler's room was a mess. His bed was unmade, his clothes now served as carpet and he had plenty empty cans of soda and bags of chips also laying around.
