Chunin exams part 3- preliminary's

It had been five days and the second part of the chunin exams was over. All who made it were stood in a room. Each team were stood in columns.

The teams included Team 11, Team 7, Team 8, Team 9, Team 10 and Kabuto's team from Konoha. There was one team from sand. And one team from the new sound village.

Stood in front of the teams was the two proctors from the exam as well as the chunin that helped them. On a slightly raised platform stood the third Hokage and behind him was the genin teams' sensei.

The genin were idly chatting before they heard a cough from the aged Hokage causing them to immediately become silent.

"Congratulations young genin on passing the second exam. Now before we continue I will explain the reasons behind the exams (Insert Hiruzen speech here) that is why we have these exams. Now because of the abnormal amount of genin that passed this year we will have preliminary matches."

A man drops down in front of Hiruzen on one knee "Since I'm the proctor of this exam I feel as though I should explain it Hokage-sama" Hiruzen nodded allowing the man to continue were he left of.

"My name is Hayate Gekko and I'll be the proctor of the preliminary's and the third exam. You will all be paired up randomly and fight.

To win the fight you must incapacitate your opponent or kill them but if you can please refrain from the latter. If I tell you to stop you need to stop" He said coughing quite regularly.

"Now before we begin does anyone want to forfeit?" he asked to which someone raised their hand "Kabuto Yakushi?"

"Correct. I'm very tired from the forest" he was told to go through a door and someone would be there to take him to the village.

"Now since your all staying let's begin"

Hinata Hyuga vs Neji Hyuga - winner Neji

Gaara vs Rock Lee - winner Gaara (so brutal)

Dosu Kinuta vs Choji Akimichi - winner Dosu

Naruto watched all the matches carefully seeing who might be strong enough to be his ally. So far he had been impressed by Gaara and his opponent Rock Lee. The taijustu user put up a surprisingly good fight even though he lost in the end.

The rest didn't stand out though he did notice a mark on Sasuke's neck. He'd have to figure out what it was later.

So far no one in his team had fought and the only remaining fighters were Kiba, Ino and Sakura so all his team should have a easy pass to the next round.

The electronic board shuffled once more and revealed the next fighters to be

Sakura Haruno vs Natsuki Aramada

Both girls made there way down from the balcony. Sakura tried putting on a brave face but anyone could tell she was scared. Natsuki looked like she was going for a walk in a part. To be fair a walk in a park would be harder than the fight.

They stood across from each other Sakura in the basic academy stance and Natsuki totally relaxed. Hayate raised his hand looked at the two girls getting a nod from each them brought his hand down shouting "Hajime".
