Chapter 19// "Who?" Sarah asked me. I stood there in silence for a minute. "Jacob." I said. Sarah smiled. "That's great. I want you to be happy Em." she said. "Yeah." I said. "Me too." She looked at me. "Well. When are you going to break the bad news to Taylor?" she asked me. "I think right now." I said with a smile on my face for some reason. I guess I was happy for finally doing what's right for me.
I was walking to Taylor's room. when I got closer to his door the smile on my face started to fade. I knocked on his door. "Hey babe!" He said all happy. "Hey." I said. "Listen,Taylor." I said sounding serious but sad. "Whats wrong?" he asked while giving me a hug. I backed up. "Look Taylor. This is NOT an easy thing to say, trust me I'm having a hard time doing it now." I said. His smile started to fade. "But. I'm sorry but we need to break up." I said. "It wasn't me and it wasn't you. it's just I found somebody else." I said. "Which one is it?" he said. "What are you talking about?" I said. "Which one of the boys are you leaving me for?!" he said. "Is it that new boy?" he asked. I looked down at my feet. "IT IS ISNT IT?!" he screamed. "I CANT BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME EMILY!". Cameron came out of his room. "Hey what's going on?" he said. "WHY DONT YOU ASK YOUR SISTER?" Taylor screamed. "Hey man calm down." Cameron said. "Whatever. I can't believe I wasted my time on you." Taylor said. Then he slammed the door in my face. I started to cry. I ran to Cameron because he was on the other side of the hall. He comforted me and told me that everything was going to be okay. "You did what you thought was right." Cam said. "Thank you Cameron. Thank you for being the best brother." I said. "Your welcome Emily. I love you okay? I will always be here for you." He said. I smiled a faint smile. "Love you to Cameron." I said. "I'm going to go to my room now." I said.
"It's okay. What you did was right." Sarah said to me while comforting me. I was crying a lot. but I knew what I did was right. Sarah had gotten a text from Jacob. "Hey meet me in the lobby?" he said. Sarah got up. "I will be right back." She said.
