"Ow!" A girl's voice squeaked with pain.
"What was that? Did you hear that, Renjun?" I turn my head towards the boy beside me and he happened to be staring back at me too.
The two of us were currently in the underworld's forest of roses.
"Yeah...it came from there." He gestures towards a bush.
Then the both of us went to investigate.
We plowed through the many natural obstacles, and came to a stop as we both saw a young child that had teary, glossy eyes.
I widened my eyes in surprise. "This is..."
The aura of this child was different from both mine and Renjun's.
"A human child. There is no doubt..." Renjun answered me in awe.
"What is this? How could a human child?" My words came out as a whisper.
"She probably accidentally entered a portal."
"We should take her back to her own world, huh?" I stepped closer to the small girl that was about five human years old and picked her up in my arms.
"Come on, we'll get you back home, don't cry." I smiled.
"Yah, Haechan...hold on," Renjun edges closer to the child and says,
"Hi! I'm Renjun, and this stupid guy here is Haechan. What is your name?"
The human girl sniffled and said,
"Soojung, Kim Soojung."
