RECAP!
Rose has been kidnapped by an evil dude named Sean from her past. He wont get over the fact that she doesnt love him and because of this he rapes her. The anguish from that and the abuse shes been receiving create a force strong enough to break a mental barrier drug shes been injected with for a short amount of time. In that time Roses wolf reaches out to Matt and his wolf for help.
Dylans POV
(on patrol before the kidnapping)
We've been walking around the perimeter of the land for about an hour now. Now we are just sitting around before doing the last lap and heading home. Matt is sitting like a statue looking off into the distance not talking to anyone like he always does. I kinda thought he'd be different since he's changed alot because of Rose. Matt motions for everyone to get up and do the last lap. Standing up and stretching i start feeling a little uneasy.
"Hey Matt, something doesnt feel right. Do you sense that?" I mindlink over to Matt
"Yeah, Guys be on top alert I get the sense something bad is going on" Matt mindlinks to everyone
"Yes Alpha" everyone including myself mindlinks back. Running around the perimeter im with Matt and Skylar while everyone else went in the counterclockwise route. Suddenly Matt stops running causing us to stop aswell and look at him questioningly.
"Rogues" Matt mindlinks to us just as we are ambushing by a pack of rogues.
Matts POV
Ive been itching for a good fight lately so seeing these tiny rogue wolves was like a dream come true. Charging into the leader Dylan and Sky take the other 2 and get to work. Reatching out with my muzzle i take a bite out of this guys calf and yank his body to the ground. Right as im about to pin him and snap his neck Rose mindlinks me causing me to lose my grip on him and land on my back under the rogue.
"Baaaaaaabe? How's patrol? Working hard or hardly working?"
"Everything's good Rose. How was your little food run?" i say making sure my voice sounds calm so i dont worry her. I quickly fight the rogue off of me and pin him back under me nipping at him here and there.
"It was fine, i got all the snacks i could need plus they were having a whole bunch of 10 for 10 sales. I'm driving back home now."
"That's good baby. Be careful and drive safe, alright?" I say back while snapping the rogues neck and looking around to check if there's anymore and if everyone is alright. Dylan and Skylar seemed to have handled themselves and are waiting for orders.
"Oh shutup I..." Rose says and then stops.
"Rose? Baby are you alright?......HELLO!?" I quickly say back but when i still get no responses from her i start to get worried. Looking over at the guys i mindlink them what just happened.
"We need to get to the pack house now! Skylar stay here and tell everyone to watch out for more rogues. Dylan you come with me." I mindlink to them before running off towards the pack house without waitng for Dylan to catch up. Im almost to the pack house when i smell smoke and gasoline. Making a beeline i start running that way when i feel a slight pain in my chest making me run faster. Oh god, please be okay please be okay. Running up i suddenly stop and stare at the horror scene in front of me. Rose's car, or whats left of it, is destroyed and laying on the side of the rode burning. Quickly switching into my human form i start running towards the car. Im just about to get to it when im tackled to the ground by Dylan.
