Matts POV

We all have just made it to the compound where Rose is being held. Its like a bunker but it was in a really remote area surrounded by forrest and wilderness to shield it from view. If it wasnt for my bond with Rose there would be no way in hell I wouldve found her. Which is terrifying to even think about so i dont dwell on that fact. All the wolves are hidden behind the trees waiting for my signal to go in. Assessing the number of wolves at the place I start to think we are out numbered. But my wolves are the strongest most ferocious pack. We can take them down easy. With a quick jerk of my gigantic wold head the first group goes in immediately and the war begins. As soon as the first group starts fighting my group goes in to help while the last group stays back til its necessary for them to move in and help.

A couple rogues automatically sense im an alpha and come after me trying to defeat me. Too bad those cocky little sh*ts dont stand a chance. I quickly defeat them and move on killing a couple more before the third group moves in to take my groups place as we break our way into the compound. I snif the air and cant seem to sniff out her whereabouts. Letting my wolf take control I let him lead me to her with my guys following close behind.

My wolf leads me to a heavy metal door where I cant hear anything inside. Sniffing the door I still dont smell her scent and start to wonder if my wolf was wrong. But something in my gut tells me he's not.

"She's in here guys. Knock it down!" I mindlink to them which they quickly do. It takes a few slams but finally its knocked to the ground. The first thing that hits me is Roses scent which makes me and wolf happy. I quickly rush into the room with the guys flanking me and what i see literally breaks rips my soul to pieces and has my wolf 1. seeing red and 2. whimpering for our mate.

What we see is Rose, naked as the day she was born hanging from metal cuffs by her wrists which I sense are drenched in wolfsbane. Her face is bloody and swollen beyond recognition and covered in cuts, her hair is matted with sweat and blood and her beautiful body is covered in cuts and bruises. She is drenched in blood which I can smell is her own. Her beautiful skin was now a sickly color and she looked half dead. Whats worse was that she wasnt moving and i could barely hear a heartbeat.

Im going to kill the bastard that did this to her!

"FIND THE MAN THAT DID THIS TO HER AND BRING HIM TO ME!!" I yelled through the mindlink. As i phased back into my human form and walk over to her.

"Baby?"I said softly when I reached her gently rubbing my hand on her cheek. She wasnt responding not even her wolf. Once I was close enough to her I could smell the stale scent of semen on her and see it mingled in hair and the blood on her torso. I dont look lower afraid of what i would see there too. I quickly tore the cuffs off her ignoring the fact that it burned my skin to touch them. She almost fell and broke her head open but i caught her. I quickly checked to actually see if the heartbeat I was hearing was actually there. It was but it was so light and unequal that I knew I have to get her to a doctor soon. 

"Matt we found the guy. We knocked him out tied him up. What do you want us to do about him?" Dylan mindlinks to me. I can sense everyone waiting outside the compound waiting for orders.

"Bring him to the territory and lock him up in the cellars. You may torture him if you guys feel up for it but no one is to kill him, yet." I mindlink back to them as i pick up my beautiful mate and carry her out of that horrible place. Once im in front of my fighters I can feel a collective intake of breath from everyone and then hot boiling anger. I quickly shake my head refusing to answer any questions before running at the highest speed i can in human form with her in my arms.

Back at the territory I rush her to the pack hospital where the pack doctor and some nurses are waiting and ready for me. I can see everyone's eyes go really wide when they see the state she's in and can feel the sympathy rolling off them towards me. I immediately sigh thanking whoever linked ahead because i was so busy with getting her back i forgot to tell them to be ready for my arrival. They quickly take her away but i dont break down yet. I have things to take care of, first i need to address the pack about the status of their Luna.

I quickly call a pack meeting before going back to my house and changing into some clothes. I walk out the back of the house and in front of where all the wolves are waiting for me whispering amongst themselves.

What do you think this is about? I hear the Luna is dead. She's dead no way! I hear she she ran away with another man. That whore! Who would leave him? As soon as im in front of them the whispering stops.

"I know you all are wondering whats going on. Some of you know while others of you dont so im here to inform you. First, no she did not run off she was kidnapped. But we found her and she is in critical condition. The doctors are taking care of her now."

-Is she going to make it?

"I cannot be certain but i pray she does"

-Do we know who did this to her?

"Yes it was a man named Sean from her past who came back for her. We have captured him and locked him up for the time being"

-Why havent you killed him?

"I plan on it. No one disrespects me or my mate. But death is too easy a punishment for the unspeakable things he has done to her. I plan on inflicting as much and more pain on him before i decide to kill him. Anymore questions?" Looking around no one seems to speak up so i end the meeting and go deal with the bastard himself.
