*ROSES POV*
Waking up I stretched my tired muscles or tried to but found that task difficult with the weight of another body pressing down on my chest. Opening my eyes I saw nothing but could see that it was daylight out. That or the light in this room was turned on, I could feel tingles on my skin meaning that the person sleeping on me was my mate.
Moving my one available arm I reach out and feel my way up his body to his face before poking him in the forehead. Matt doesn't move so i keep poking him.
"Stop that or i'll rip your arm off your body" I hear Matt say, sleep lacing his voice.
"Well that'd be unfortunate since I just woke up after 2 month." I say back to him. This causes Matt to spring up off my body so fast that if i could see him my head would be spinning.
"Rose? Is this a dream or has my love actually come back to me?" he whispers before I feel his hand cup my cheek. I automatically lean into his touch and bring my hands up to his.
"The one and only," I say jokingly looking around the brightness in hopes of maybe detecting a shadow or something that will show me that hes there besides the fact that hes touching me. Before I have time to react Matt kisses me and squeezes me to his chest. I start to feel a wetness on my shoulder before I hear him speak.
"Oh god I thought I was dreaming that you woke up in my sleep. I missed you so much baby I was going insane without you." he whispers as he pulls away from me but wrapping his arms around my waist instead. I touch his arm and feel my way to his face again wiping away the tears.
"I'm here and I don't plan on leaving you for a long ass time. I'm better sure I said it before but i'll just say it again. You're stuck with me babe." I smile in his direction and feel him smiling into my hands back at me.
"Now if you wouldn't mind being a dear and helping me to the bathroom. I'd appreciate that greatly. I need to pee like a mofo." I say as I swing my legs over the side of the bed and carefully stand up. Stretching out my limbs and muscles, I can hear them cracking up a storm from disuse. I hold my hand out and wait for Matt to come. Not too long after I've stretched I feel Matt take my outstretched hand and guide me to what I'm pretty sure is my destined location. He sets me directly in front of the toilet and I can feel him about to pull down my pants when I stop him.
"I can do it! I may be blind now but i'm not helpless Matthew and i'll be damned if I let you sit here and treat me like some old person in a home who needs wiped!" I say stamping my foot for emphasis. I hear Matt chuckle and then feel him kiss my forehead.
"I forgot how sassy you used to be. I'll be right outside the door if you need me baby." he says before walking out of the bathroom and I hear the door close behind him. Finally with Matt gone I pull down my pants and relieve myself before wiping and flushing the toilet. I feel my way to the sink and wash my hands. After I washed my hands I remove the rest of my clothes and feel my way to the shower. Turning the knobs I adjust it til the water is at a reasonable temperature. As I try to get into the shower I trip and land on the floor with a thud. I hear the door open and before I know it I feel a pair of hands picking me up off the shower floor.
"Baby I know you don't want any help but at least let me help you just until you get used to losing your sight." Matt says and then sets me on my two feet under the shower head.
"Okay," I say before turning towards the water and taking my hair out of the ponytail its in letting it fall down my shoulder. Dang my hair got hella long! It goes all the way down to my butt now. I'm gonna need a haircut ASAP. I hear Matt getting into the shower behind me and feel his chest touch my back. Blushing a little at the fact that we are both naked I feel his hands go into my hair before the smell of vanilla and strawberry reaches my nose. "Thank you." I say back to him.
"Anytime baby," Matt says before turning me around and rinsing the shampoo out of my hair. Once the shampoo is completely out of my hair he put in conditioner before i pull all my hair to the top of my hair into a bun so that it can soak in. I feel Matt's large hand reach out and start rubbing soap onto my body. He starts at the shoulder and moves down before rubbing soap on my stomach and down my back. I'm already starting to get aroused just by having my mate touch me and i'm basically purring waiting for him to touch one of my more intimate parts. When I finally feel his hand touch my breast I fly back into a wall like I've been scalded as a wave of memories flood into my brain.
"Rose!"
PAIN
BLOOD
SEAN
SCREAMING
It all hits me so fast I'm left shaking and crying as I crumble to the ground. All I can hear before blacking out is Matt's voice yelling and asking if I'm okay.
