NOTES- Ship is Unikitty x Master Frown. Also has a hint to a previous short story I wrote.

Christmas was just around the corner. The seasons of giving and showing your friends and family how much you love them.

And for Unikitty, it was one of her favorite holidays. She loved her friends and wanted to show them all how much they meant to her. She knew them all so well, so she knew what to get them all for Christmas.

Well, all except one.

Master Frown.

Unikitty always considered him a friend, and after their time together when she helped him get to his meeting when he lost his body, one thing led to another, and the two had begun a secret pen pal friendship. They still had some mishaps with each other in person, but Unikitty didn't mind. It was Master Frown's job as a doom lord after all, and even if they were technically enemies, she really did see him as a friend.

But even through their pen pal friendship, Unikitty still didn't know what she was going to get the doom lord for Christmas. Normally, Master Frown would try something to mess up Christmas for Unikitty, so she didn't think that he wanted anything. Though lately, he hadn't been acting up, which both relieved Unikitty and made her confused. She wondered what could've convinced him to not try anything mischievous. At least for now.

Unikitty was in her room. As the snow fell down in a graceful pace outside, the princess was working on wrapping up the presents she got for Puppycorn, Hawkodile, Dr. Fox, and Richard. She knew them all so well, and she got their gifts. But she had to go out and figure out what to get Master Frown.

The princess finished wrapping the last gift. She quickly glanced around, making sure that no one was around. None of her friends were nearby, so she quickly hid the wrapped presents under her bed. She couldn't blame her friends for being nosy since she sometimes acted the same, but she still didn't want them peeking at their presents.

Unikitty went back to her desk and sighed as she looked at a piece of paper that she had been writing on all day. She had been writing out possible gift ideas for Master Frown, and every time she thought of something, she had crossed off the idea in frustration, realizing that the doom lord wouldn't like it.

"What am I going to do? He doesn't like anything..." she said.

"Who doesn't like anything?" asked a voice.

Unikitty yelped and turned around quickly. Richard was staring at her with a stern eye.

"R-Richard! I didn't hear you come in!" Unikitty said nervously.

"I was calling for you for a few minutes. Dinner's ready," said Richard.

"O-Oh! I'll be right down!" said Unikitty.

Richard raised an eyebrow at her. He turned around and left Unikitty's room. Unikitty let out a sigh. She started to follow Richard downstairs to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, and Unikitty joined the rest of the gang for dinner. She was quiet as she sat down with them, even poking at her food.

"Something wrong, sis?" asked Puppycorn.

"Oh, it's nothing," said Unikitty.

"I wouldn't say that..." said Richard. "You seem to be having trouble with a friend, I presume..."

Puppycorn, Hawkodile, and Dr. Fox all gave Unikitty stunned looks. They never expected Unikitty to have any problems with someone she cared about since she loved everyone so much.
