AUTHOR'S NOTE: this glossary will be updated periodically as new terms are introduced into the storylines. Also please note these are not in any particular order. If there are any terms you would like the definition of, please put them in the comments and I will answer your comment as well as add the word to the glossary.


SLANG TERMS:

vamp tramp (n): someone who sleeps with vampires for fun and is addicted to the vampire bite

coffin cunt (n): someone who tries to steal someone's vampire significant other; does not necessarily refer to females only although the term tends to be used by females to refer to other females

fang whore (n): a human who gets paid to sleep with vampires and feed them, basically a donor-for-hire or a fuck-for-hire

dead-head (n): a phrase with a dual meaning; 1) slang term for a vampire 2) slang term for humans who are addicted to drinking vampire blood

fang-gasm (n):  an orgasm experienced and brought on by the bite of a vampire, experienced by both the donor and the vampire. It is intense and often happens spontaneously when feeding. It can be experienced not only when feeding, but also when a vampire is embracing another to create a new vampire.

REGULAR TERMS:

embrace (v): referring to being turned into a vampire; i.e. to embrace a human

vampire assassin (n): another entity who has been sanctioned by The Vampire High Council to carry out a death sentence of a vampire

karada (n): Japanese for "body", it refers to the group of assassins employed by The Council

parusu (n): Japanese word for The Pulse, a renegade group of lycans who live on the fringes of society. They answer directly to The Council, but exist in complete secrecy. They have their eyes and ears on the pulse of the city they work in (hence the name), reporting back to The Council, carrying out their missions and sometimes helping fellow pack members when trouble arises. The group is typically made up of male members only.

hafu (n): derogatory, slang term for a half-breed, used to describe orphans and other children who were not of pure Japanese decent, used in sixteenth through the eighteenth centuries in Japan.
