Taehyung wakes up later that day and Jungkook runs him a bath rather than making him take a shower.Jungkook carries Taehyung to the bathroom and sits him on the toilet before checking the water again.
Taehyung begins to cry again but they're only small cries this time.
Jungkook helps him out of his clothes while he cries. "It's okay baby."
He places Taehyung into the tub as gently as he could before getting situated to wash his hair and his body.
Jungkook's heart was breaking at the sight of someone he loved so much being so helpless.
All Taehyung did was cry softly to himself as Jungkook combed through his hair.
He already looked twice as better than he did the past week even though he was still crying.
Jungkook let Taehyung dry himself off as he changed the sheets and comforter on the bed.
When he gets back into the bathroom Taehyung's puffy eyes are dry and he stares a ahead with the towel wrapped around him.
"You okay baby?" Jungkook asks, and much to his surprise after a week of being ignored, Taehyung nods a little.
After getting dressed Taehyung climbs back into bed, facing Jungkook now.
"Are you hungry?" He asks cautiously.
Taehyung shakes his head and closes his eyes.
Jungkook accepts the answer since Taehyung is actually answering now.
Jungkook pulls the cover up over Taehyung and brushes the wet strands from his face.
He turns to leave but Taehyung stops him by grabbing his wrist.
"What's wrong?" He asks kneeling downs in front of the bed.
Taehyung scoots over and gestures for Jungkook to join him.
"You want me to lay with you?" Jungkook asks anyway.
Taehyung nods gently pulling Jungkook's arm.
Jungkook lays down next to Taehyung. "You okay?"
The other nods still holding onto Jungkook's arm as he closes his eyes.
Jungkook sighs running his fingers through Taehyung's damp hair.

Thursday Jungkook gets home from work he finds Taehyung sitting down on the bed folding clothes and putting them in suitcases.
"What are you doing baby?" He asks surprised to see him up.
Taehyung ignores him at first as he continues to pack.
"Tae, baby?" Jungkook says again walking over to him.
This time he looks up at him and points to the dresser.
Jungkook walks over to the dresser and finds some mail sent from Seoul that's already been opened.
The company had sent the plane tickets for their departure on Saturday.
As Jungkook is reading the paper he feels a pair of slender arms wrap around his torso.
Taehyung sniffles laying his head on Jungkook's back.
Jungkook turns around meeting Taehyung's teary eyes. "What's wrong?"
Taehyung hides his face in Jungkook's chest.
Jungkook hugs him back and strokes his hair. Taehyung still hadn't spoken a word in almost two weeks and he worried for him.
Taehyung pulls away after a while and turns back to the suitcases.
"You don't have to do that." Jungkook says but Taehyung shakes his head and continues. " Well, I'm just gonna change and I'll start on dinner."
Taehyung nods pointing to the clothes he left out for him.
Jungkook thanks him frowning slightly at what he picked out.
It was a pair of sweatpants matched with a bright yellow hoodie Taehyung had got him for his birthday with a huge picture of a cat with bunny ears on the front.
He never wore the hideous thing because he thought it was more of a joke than anything.
He changes before making his way into the kitchen to cook something.
As he's cooking he gets a phone call from Jin.
"Hey hyung." He answers.
"Hey, I was calling to check on Tae. I called him but he didn't answer." Jin says.
"Oh." Jungkook looks down the hall to make sure Tae was still in the room before continuing. "He's better. He got out of bed and he's moving around and stuff. I don't know if he's eaten yet and..."
"And what?" His hyung asks nervously.
"Maybe he just needs time but, he's not talking yet." Jungkook answers. " But he will. He just needs time."
He hears the bedroom door open along with the sound of Taehyung's sock clad feet sliding against the floor.
"But I'll talk to you more later hyung I'm trying to cook." Jungkook ends the conversation.
"Oh no. Don't burn the apartment down." Jin jokes.
"I've been cooking for three years now I think I know how to not burn the house down." He rolls his eyes before turning to Taehyung who's laying on the couch in the living room.
"Alright. Talk to you soon, love you guys."
"Love you too, tell Joon-hyung to take a break and call us sometime."
"I will. Bye." Jin chuckles before ending the call.
Jungkook sighs taking a moment to look around the apartment that they would be leaving soon.
It was still the dingy old apartment they first moved in to but something about the memories made here in the past three years or so made it seem grand.
After struggling to survive through their first eleven months here they had finally saved up enough for the first initial down payment and the rent but even after that it was hard.
Jungkook remembers the tears they had shed from the fear that they had made a mistake by coming here.
He remembers how hard it was hardly seeing each other due to working non stop to provide what little they could.
He remembers how hopeless he felt trying to choose between Taehyung's engagement ring and the rent, it's almost funny now.
After all the struggle and stress they were moving on to bigger things.
It made Jungkook sad that they were starting over again but it gave him hope.
With his new job he hoped that Taehyung wouldn't have to work or stress about money ever again.
He wanted Taehyung to finally have the life he deserved when he was growing up, stress free with lots of love.
Because it's what he deserved and it's what Jungkook wanted for him.
And seeing Taehyung happy is more than enough to make him content as well.
