Jungkook knew his family had a residence in Seoul but he had never actually been in it.

Just the sight of the building makes his blood boil, but he'd do anything for his Taehyung.

There are a few surprised gasps and a few stares as he enters the building.

Some people bow to him but he ignores them all as he stops at the front desk.

"Is my mother here?" He asks trying not to sound angry.

"Yes, should I let her know you are here?" The lady asks, the shock obvious in her voice.

"No, thank you." Jungkook forces a short lived smile before walking towards the elevator.

He gets to the top floor and looks for his mother's office.

He was in no hurry to talk to the woman, just to get Taehyung.

This was the second time something like this happened to his fiancé because of him and it was eating him alive.

He just wanted his mother to leave him alone, or at least take her anger out in him, not Taehyung.

He walks into the office without knocking and finds his mother talking to her longtime secretary, someone who has seen Jungkook grow up since the age of five.

"Excuse us." Jungkook says, his jaw clenching when he makes eye contact with his mother.

"Yes...sir." Secretary Ahn says bowing to the now grown man.

Jungkook nods respectfully since Ahn is still his elder.

"Welcome Jungkook." His mother says standing.

"Where is he?" Jungkook asks straight away.

"Didn't I tell you you'd get that boy back after we spoke." His mother says.

"That boy is my fiancé." Jungkook says.

That seems to be a fact that his mother didn't know apparently since her expression drops into a serious one.

"Fiancé, huh?" She asks. "That's surprising."

"I love him. And I don't care what you do, I won't stop loving him." Jungkook says taking it upon himself to take a seat.

Ms. Jeon slides a paper towards him. "Will you rejoin the company?"

"No." Jungkook says. "See, we could have done that over the phone."

"I have people that will have a bullet through that boy's head in a millisecond." Ms. Jeon says. "I'd be a bit more careful if I were you."

Jungkook rolls his eyes despite being terrified that his mother is being honest. "I'm not rejoining the company."

"I was just being nice by asking, I am in fact telling you that you are coming back." She says. "I don't care if you bring that boy, but you will come back to Busan."

"I won't return to Busan. I'll work from the Seoul residence." Jungkook agreed, it was getting dark now and he still hasn't seen Taehyung.

"Fine. You'll be returning in place of your father~"

"Where is he?" Jungkook asks, he hadn't thought about the man since the day he left.

"He's working from the states now." His mother answers.

"You're making me return as the President?" Jungkook asks.

If Jungkook knew anything, he knew how to run a business.

Thanks to his wonderful parents he was slick at the lip and fast talking, he could run around in circles for hours and still sale at the end of the day, he was that good.

Keep them thinking and wanting more, offer the price two times what you want and then lower it to make them think you're doing them a favor when you're actually just getting what you want at the end, that's something his father lived by.

"Yes, then later Vice Chairman and then Head Chairman." She says. "Just sign the paper and we'll have an agreement."

Jungkook looks over the paper, skimming the fine print to make sure he isn't getting scammed.

He scribbles his signature halfheartedly before dropping the pen. "Now where is he?"

Ms. Jeon smiles looking down at the signature before taking her phone out and dialing a number.

"Take him home." She says simply before hanging up. "All better now?"

"If he's hurt I'll murder you with my bare hands." Jungkook says, meaning every word.

He used to love his mother but at this point she was nothing better than a stranger.

-

"Remember what we said, Sunshine, we're always here if you need us." Jaewook says. "We're not the enemy, she is."

Taehyung nods. "Okay."

"Try to be careful as well, the big man would kill us if he found out something happened to you or Jungkook." Junho says. "If you need us, just call out for us. Or scream or something. We're never too far away."

"Okay. Thanks.... I guess." Taehyung says getting out of the car, he didn't trust these guys but at least they were letting him go home.

He presses the button for the elevator and when he gets to his floor he nearly runs towards their apartment door.

The door is open when he turns the nod and he walks in, shutting it behind him.

Before he can even turn around Jungkook is tackling him in a hug.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Tae. Fuck, I'm so sorry. I was worried sick all day, I thought something happened to you. This is my fault. I'm sorry I yelled at you last night. Jesus christ this day felt like forever." Jungkook rambles hugging Taehyung tightly.

Taehyung hugs back, tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry, Jungkook."

"Don't be sorry, baby. You didn't do anything wrong." Jungkook says pulling away and holding Taehyung by his shoulders as he looks him over.

"H-Hobi has said he wanted to meet up. I sh-should have woken you up~"

"It wasn't Hobi. It was my mother." Jungkook says. "I talked to Hobi. He said he hadn't seen or heard from you all day."

Taehyung nods. "I saw her."

"You did?" Jungkook asks. "She didn't hurt you did she? Are you hurt?"

Taehyung shakes his head. "Jungkook, it's fine. Okay? I'm okay."

"You better not be fucking lying to me, Taehyung. I swear to god~"

"I'm not. I'm okay." Taehyung promises. "Are you okay?"

"As long as you are okay I am." Jungkook says pulling Taehyung back into another hug. "I was worried sick, Tae."

"Jungkook, can I ask you something?" Taehyung asks hugging the other back.

"Of course, anything."

"Why do you love me?"
