Taehyung is in the kitchen clearing out the refrigerator when Jungkook comes to him and randomly brings up their wedding."Yeah? What about it?" He asks glancing at him briefly before continuing what he was doing.
"I think we should do it before Sunday." Jungkook says leaning on the counter across from the other.
"Kook, we can't just do it. We have to put some thought into it. I haven't even finished my vows." Taehyung says shaking his head. "And I know you haven't even started yours."
"We don't have time, I think it's best if we just go to the courthouse tomorrow~"
"Tomorrow?" Taehyung asks turning to face him. "Where's all this coming from, Jungkook? You said before you wanted to be engaged for at least two years before~"
"Forget what I said before. We need to get married before Sunday." Jungkook says. "Please, Tae?"
Taehyung sighs. "You think something's going to go wrong, don't you?"
Jungkook sighs, raking his fingers through his hair. "There's so much room for error, Tae. And if something is going to happen to either of us I want us to be married before it does."
Taehyung shakes his head. "Nothing's gonna happen though. Right?"
"Not if I can help it." Jungkook promises. "But still, will you marry me before Sunday?"
Taehyung nods. "Yeah, I will."
Jungkook smiles a little. "I know it's not ideal to get married in a courthouse but as long as we're together I'll be happy."
"Me too." Taehyung agrees. "Now come help me pack up the kitchen."
Jungkook rolls his eyes and grabs an empty box to start putting the dishes in.
They clean up silently for a while before Jungkook gets a phone call from Yoongi.
"Hey, hyung." He says after putting the phone on speaker.
"Hey, Kooks." Yoongi says. "I'm calling on behalf of Jin-hyung and Jimin. They insist that you and Tae come over this weekend~ oh yeah and it's not an option."
Taehyung and Jungkook share a look before answering.
"Oh um, we'll have to see, Yoongi. I work this weekend." Jungkook says making Taehyung frown.
"Of course you do, you work every day. But couldn't you be so kind as to take a fucking day off to spend with your friends? Seriously you guys are making suspicious. Are you in a gang? Or apart of a mafia?"
"No, I'm just busy." Jungkook says, feeling terrible about always pushing his friends away.
"Hey, Yoongi-hyung. Maybe we can meet sometime during the week instead?" Taehyung says looking at Jungkook who shrugs.
"Hey, Taehyung. I didn't know you were there too." Yoongi says. "If during the week works better for you guys then that's fine."
"Okay, is Wednesday good?" He asks, this week felt like the shortest week they've ever had.
"That's Fine, I'll tell Jin and Jimin." Yoongi says.
"Okay, well I'll see you then, hyung." Taehyung says.
