It had been two weeks. Two whole weeks of absolute hell for Jungkook and for Taehyung.
Taehyung didn't stay with Hoseok and Taeil for more than the first couple of days before asking Hobi to check him into a hotel.
He didn't want to feel like a burden to the happy couple, and every time he was around Taeil he didn't feel right.
So that's how he found himself in a cold hotel room crying for two weeks straight.
He was either crying or asleep, even when he was asleep though he wasn't resting. He waited for a call, or a text, or any sign that Jungkook wanted to make things work but it never came.
He found himself almost calling Jungkook first but he didn't want to seem desperate by crawling back to him, it was Jungkook's mistake so Jungkook should come crawling to him.
But Jungkook wasn't doing too well himself these past two weeks.
He felt numb, weak, and incomplete. He didn't go to work, he didn't go anywhere besides his bedroom and the bathroom.
Hoseok had called him the night he took Taehyung and told him Tae wanted space, and until he was ready to leave him alone.
Jungkook felt like he'd never be ready, after two weeks of waiting for Taehyung to text his hope was running low.
Jungkook was so upset that he couldn't even cry, all he did was lie there waiting for Taehyung, waiting for him to give him a chance- another chance.
The only time he showed the slightest sign of life was when Haeun called to talk about the baby.
Despite wanting nothing to do with her or the baby Jungkook has to step up and take responsibility.
The entire conversation his voice was flatlined and he never raised his voice or repeated himself, he felt empty, too empty to be alive.
Every thought that crossed his mind was about Taehyung, he even dreamed about him when he fell asleep.
The only time he spoke was to call Hobi to ask if Taehyung was alright, even though Hoseok told him to stop calling or sometimes didn't answer he still called.
"Jungkook, just stop calling. I already told I'm not with Taehyung and he's not answering me anymore. What do you expect?" Hoseok snaps from the other end of the phone.
"I-I know, I just. M'sorry, I was just~"
"Bye, Jungkook. Give Tae the space he needs, it's the least you could do." Hoseok says before cutting the call.
"I'm sorry." Jungkook whispers even though the call ended. "I'm so fucking sorry."
He drops the phone and falls back onto the bed, burying his face into the pillow.
There's a knock on the door downstairs and he jumps, for a moment he thinks it could be Taehyung, but he tells himself to keep his hopes down on the thought of Tae coming back anytime soon.
He pushes himself out of the bed and goes to get the door, not caring that he was dressed in the same clothes that he's been in all week or that his hair was going every which way.
He unlocks the door and pulls it open to find Yoongi standing there with his arms crossed and his lips pursed.
"Hy-Hyung~"
