Avni Neil's new happy married life was going super nice. Avni was blending with the family members better than before. But they both got to spend time only in the night because of their busy work schedule. She wanted to spend time with the entire family but Khanna Saab wanted particularly her. But they were happy. Maddy Bua and Kareena made regular visits to them. Maddy actually started staying with them putting a Oh my god expression on Shweta's face. Avni giggled wholeheartedly whenever she saw her like this. But both of them looked upto the weekend to spend some quality time with each other. And then, Neil wouldn't just let go of her.
Kareena had been married with her boyfriend Angad. An occasion for them. But her sudden regular visits were a matter of thoughts for all the ladies.
"Neil isn't it strange?" Avni spoke one day. "What?" He said tugging her towards him. "Kareena. She's looking so distraught. And how come her in laws are allowing her to make so many visits. I mean, most of them don't like it, do they?" She said, confusingly. "What do you want to say? You don't like her coming here?" Neil asked in his brotherly way. "That's not what I meant. Obviously I like her. Leave it. You always take me in the wrong." She said, frowning and was about to move but Neil held her back. "I don't take you in the wrong. We don't spend time with each other Av. We need to. This will lead to something else." He said, moving closer. But she was kinda hurt by his statement and strode off while Neil sighed.
She went to Kareena to plan a chat with her. "Hey.. How are you?" Avni began. "Fine Bhabhi." She said not matching her eyes. "What's wrong Kareena? Your house is alright? Are they treating you well?" She asked. Kareena's expression did change a bit. "I..I think Angad is betraying me. I think he lies to me about his work. He goes somewhere else only." She said. Now one thing about Avni. She is so feminist, she wouldn't suffer any injustice done to them. Especially her sister. "Are you sure? We can check. We can ask Neil for-" Avni began but she cut her off. "Not Neil Bhai. He was so happy for my marriage. I can't afford to tell him." "Let's check first. Maybe if you're wrong, which I want, then there's no problem sweety. But if you're right, we need to break the ice." Avni protested. "It's all between us." Kareena asked her to promise. Avni nodded and kissed her forehead. She went back to her room, feeling relieved. "So wifey is still angry?" Neil asked hugging her from behind. "We need to talk." She said, resting her head on his shoulder. "That's what I thought so." He said in incorrect way. She shook her head and giggled at his husband's stupidness. "I'm sorry for being rude." She said. "I'm sorry for being so indecisive." He said. Neil I will definitely know if your sister is in danger. She said and allowed her charming smile to fool him. Neil bent forward and kissed her, both arms on her waist while she held his hair. "I missed this." He whispered. "Oh come on, we just did this, this morning." She laughed. "It felt like centuries ago." He said, daydreaming. She pecked his lips and said. "There's some urgent work. I need to go." She lied. Neil sighed deeply. "If I say no?" He asked. "I'll still go." She replied. "Fine. Take care. Come back soon. Don't go looking for trouble." He advised. "I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me." She said and finally left for her parents' house. "Superstar." Ashish greeted while hugging her. "Hey.. Where's Ma?" She asked. "Up in her room." He replied and she went. "Ma something very urgent." She said entering. "Kareena seems to be doubting Angad." She continued. "Well then, ask her not to." Neela said turning towards her. Avni screamed. "That's so bad Avni. It's my face pack." Neela said rubbing her cheeks. "Wh.. Whatever. Why shall I stop her? I didn't like that person from the beginning." Avni replied, maintaining her distance. "We need to check." "Confirmed with Neil?" Neela asked. She shook her head. "What's the plan?" "I'll pretend to be another woman if he's that kind of person. We'll know about his intentions." Avni said. "Neil won't approve." Neela warned. "But if his sister's life would be saved this way..He would." Avni suggested. Neela nodded to her daughter's plan.
