The next day, Kris woke up not from an eerie nightmare, but from a pleasant dream of going on adventures with Asriel. He suddenly wondered about how he got into bed; the last thing he remembered was riding on Susie's back. He pushed that thought aside and crawled out of bed. It was the day after Christmas, and Kris had no idea what to do. Asriel was still sound asleep, and so was most of the town. Kris then remembered his Christmas present and took it out: a piece of paper on which Sans's number was written.
He eagerly took out his cell phone and dialed the number. He then put the phone up to his ear and listened excitedly. After a few moments, the smile was wiped from his face and replaced with disgust when he realized that it was another prank number.
"SERIOUSLY?!" Kris's shrill voice rang out, waking the whole town.
