I turned off the TV and checked the time on the clock that was on the wall.
7:10 pm
Might as well slowly get ready.
I took the outfit that Jackson picked out for me yesterday and placed the clothing neatly on the bed.
I took a long shower and did my hair so that it didn't look like a birds nest. I changed into the outfit and examined myself in my body sized mirror.

I sprayed a little bit of cologne and checked the time once again.
7:48 pm
I exited my room and grabbed my keys from the table in the hallway. I put on my shoes and took a deep breath.
I exited the apartment and locked the door behind me.
"Wow, you're dressed up pretty fancy tonight, Jinyoung! Where are you off to?"
I turned around and faced my neighbor, Youngjae.
"Oh, nowhere special. Just a little night out." I replied with a smile.
"Okay, well you have fun then!" He smiled and went into his apartment.
I stepped inside the elevator and pressed the round button to lead me to the first floor.
I tapped my foot on the floor and kept biting my lip, nervously.
The doors slid open and I went outside.
I put my hands in my pockets while I stood there, waiting for JB to arrive.
As if on cue, I saw his black shiny car pull up in front of me. I took out my hands out of my pockets and opened the car door and took a seat.
I shut the door and buckled up my seat belt.
"Hey" He said and started driving again.
"Hi" I replied and turned my head to look out the window.
Since it was autumn, it had already gotten pretty dark out.
"So where are we headed off to?" I broke the silence and finally looked at him.
"Well, I was thinking about going to the new restaurant that opened up last week." He replied and I gave him a satisfied nod.
The rest of the ride to the restaurant was silent and the only thing that could be heard was the quiet sound of music playing from the radio.
We had arrived at the restaurant and it didn't look too fancy which was a relief for me considering that I wasn't a very fancy person.
He had booked a table for two and the waiter led us to our table and gave us our menus.
I scanned the menu for something that looked good and ended up choosing some kind of soup and JB decided on having a regular Cesar salad.
We were waiting for the waiter to come back with our orders so I took the opportunity to look around the place.
The tables were all covered with white tablecloths and there was candles lit which in my opinion gave off a very calm vibe. The atmosphere was very calm as well so this was a good place for us to go.
"So, tell me a little about yourself." His voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Oh uh, okay. I am 23 years old and I share an apartment with my friend Jackson. I have a big passion for writing and I have been writing ever since I was 15. And I hope to achieve my dream of becoming a professional writer." I said and he nodded slowly along my words.
"Interesting. What about your family? Do you have any siblings?" He asked and I took a sip of the cold water that I had in front of me.
"Yeah, I have two older sisters but they don't live close to here which is sad because we all are very close." I said. "What about you? Tell me something about yourself."
I was genuinely curious to find out more about JB because he doesn't really seem like the type to open up.
"Okay, I am also 23 years old. I live alone in my apartment but my two closest friends are named Yugyeom and Bambam. I don't have any siblings and I enjoy breakdancing." He said and shifted his gaze to the table.
"Breakdancing? That's cool. Mind showing me sometime?" I asked and he cracked a small smile while shrugging in response.
"Here are your orders, sirs. Enjoy your meal." Our waiter placed our food in front of us and left again.
We dug in and proceeded to have some small talk.
We had finished our food about 30 minutes later so we decided to leave. I was about to take out my wallet to pay for my food but he beat me to it.
"You didn't have to pay." I said as we walked back to his car.
"Yeah, I did. It was my treat." He said and unlocked the black shiny vehicle and we hopped inside.
"Thanks for tonight." I said while buckling my seat belt.
"Actually, is it okay if we go to one more place?" He turned to face me.
"Oh... sure." I replied. He started up the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
I didn't know where he was driving but I kept my gaze out the window the whole time.
