It was the next morning and we were currently in the car trying to decide where to go now.

"I don't wanna leave this place yet, though." I frowned. Who knows, maybe I'll never be able to see it again.

"Same. Do you want to explore it some more?" he asked.

"Yeah!" I smiled.

He started driving down the long road until we found a little dirt road that led deeper in the forest so we drove there.

"Wow! Look over there." he said and pointed in front of him. My eyes followed where he was pointing and I immediately felt my lips curl into a smile. There was a giant tree that looked greener than ever and surrounding it was water.

(I apologize if the quality is bad.)

We stepped out of the car and walked over to the tree

We stepped out of the car and walked over to the tree.

"Gosh, could this place get even more beautiful? I don't think it can." JB laughed as he looked around the place in awe.

"Agreed." I said.

I looked out at the gorgeous lake that reflected the orange sunset. We were seated on the roof of the car as we watched the sunset in silence. All that was heard was the soft melody of the radio that was playing from the car.

We had rolled down the windows to be able to hear the music better.

"Jinyoung..." he suddenly said.

"Yes?"

"There's something I should tell you." he said. I turned my head to look at him but he was just staring straight ahead.

"What is it?" I asked, starting to grow nervous.

"You remember Emily, right?"

I swallowed the saliva in my mouth and nodded.

"There's a reason to why I was acting so cold towards her ever since the beginning." he looked down.

"What reason is that?"

"You see, we went in the same class in high school before so I was pretty shocked that she didn't recognize me." he chuckled slightly and started fidgeting with his fingers.

"I used to have a big crush on her and she knew it. One night, there was this party that everyone attended and she had found me standing alone somewhere in a corner. She offered to go upstairs with her to... you know. Sure, I liked her but I wasn't ready for that so I declined."

He swallowed and I could see that his eyes were getting glossy.

"T-Then she offered me a drink... I drank it. All that I remember was going upstairs with her and that's all. Until, one of my friends, Bambam, opened the door to the bedroom where she had led me to and..."

He quickly wiped away a single tear that had fallen down.

"She tried to take advantage of me."

He looked away so that I couldn't see his face while I was in shock.

I tried to comprehend his words.

I gently placed my hand on his shoulder. "I-I'm so sorry." I whispered, tears forming in my eyes. He turned around and frowned once he saw the tears that were falling freely down my cheeks.

"Don't cry, love." he whispered and offered me a sad smile. He wiped away the tears with his thumbs and cupped my cheeks.

"I'm such an idiot. I should've listened to you." I sobbed.

"Everything is fine now, baby. Don't fret." he placed a soft kiss on my lips. When he pulled away, I brought him into a bone crushing hug.

He hugged me back and ran his hand up and down my back.

He laid me down so that my head was in his lap and started to take his fingers through my hair.

How could I be so naive and fall for Emily's lies?

And I thought that she was such a lovely person...

At least now I know her true colors.
