Chapter 28

"Jinyoung. Wake up."

I fluttered my eyes open but squinted once the bright sunlight shone in them.

"Come on. You have to see this." I felt JB brush some hair from my forehead with his fingers. I lifted my head up from the window and rubbed my eyes.

I looked in front of us and widened my eyes at the beautiful sight.

We had stopped at the side of an empty road that still went on further ahead. To the right was a forest with bright green trees and to our right was a field with some houses in the distance.

"Oh my goodness! Where are we?" I asked while looking around the place in awe.

"No idea." he chuckled. "Come on." he stepped out of the car so I did the same.

I took a few steps out to the road and took a better look around the wonderful place. Everything was so green. The bright sunlight made it look even greener.

I looked around but couldn't see JB anywhere.

"JB?"

"Over here." I spotted him by the field, holding a camera in front of his face.

"What are you doing?" I asked and stood beside him.

"Taking photos." he replied, examining the photos he just took. I looked straight ahead and saw a breathtaking view of mountains in the distance. "I want to take some pictures to remember." he said.

"Ah, okay. I wanna take a picture of you." I smiled and he handed me the camera.

"Wait!" he said and quickly ran off back to the car. He soon returned with another camera in hand. "Let's take pictures of each other." he said.

"Alright." I laughed.

We took the pictures and then showed each other the end results.

We spent a little while taking pictures of each other and having fun.

We walked around the field and talked about God knows what. I sat down on the grass while he was walking around, plucking flowers. He sat in front of me with his legs crossed and started doing something with the flowers.

"Are you making something?" I asked curiously.

"Mhm." he hummed in response, looking very focused on what he was doing. I took this time to relax so I laid down on the grass and closed my eyes.

A few minutes passed until I heard his voice. "Aaand~ there! Done."

I sat up and looked at his creation. He had made a flower crown out of white, yellow and purple flowers. He placed it on my head and cupped both of my cheeks.

"It's beautiful." I smiled.

"Your'e beautiful." he whispered and placed his lips on mine. I tangled my fingers in his curls as he carefully pushed me down on the grass, getting on top of me.

"JB." I mumbled against his lips.

"Mh?" he hummed which sent vibrations against my lips.

"Not here." I laughed as he kissed my neck.

"But i want you." he said before proceeding.

"JB~!" I whined and laughed. I pushed him off of me which caused him to pout. "Not here." I laughed.

He thought for a while before his face lit up. "In the car?"

"No!" I smacked his chest and stood up. I started walking back to the car and I heard him trail behind me.

"Jinyoung~!" I ignored him and kept walking, pretending to be mad.

I let out a loud gasp as he picked me up and slung me over his shoulder. He started running which caused me to scream and hold on to his shirt as if my life depended on it. His laughter boomed through the large field and he placed me down on the ground again.

I held my hand above my heart from fear as he was laughing his ass off. "Not funny!" I yelled and smacked his arm.

"Oh hush, princess." he playfully rolled his eyes. I crossed my arms and dramatically looked away. "Hmm... will my princess be happy if I carried him to the car?" he asked.

I looked at him again and nodded my head. He held me bridal style and started carrying me back to the car.

"Move it, peasant!" I yelled.

"Shut up before I throw you to the ground, your highness." he smiled at me sarcastically.

"Okay, I'm sorry."
