Jinyoung is 23 years old and has a big passion for writing.
He often finds himself to be depressed and thinking about his dark past.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
I rested my arm behind my head and stretched my legs over the couch.
I was peacefully resting when suddenly, my apartment door swung open and I heard footsteps running in.
"Jinyoung? Where the fuck are you?!" I recognized the voice to be JB's so I only hummed in response with my eyes still closed.
I felt him jump on top of me and violently shake my shoulders. "Get your lazy ass up!" he yelled and I opened my eyes, squinting slightly.
I pushed him off of me and sat up properly. "What is it?" I sighed, annoyed.
"I got the most brilliant idea!" he said.
"What?" I asked impatiently. This better be good. I mean, it probably is because it isn't like him to act like this.
"How about we go for a road trip! Just the two of us." he grinned. I looked up at him, more intrigued by his words now.
"That's... actually a good idea." I laughed.
"Right?" he beamed with pride. "I think that we could go tomorrow so I suggest you start packing." he patted my shoulder and stood up.
He was about to leave but I stopped him. "Wait!" he turned around.
"Not even a kiss?" I pouted. He rolled his eyes and walked back over to me. He quickly pecked my lips and smiled sarcastically.
"Happy?" he asked. I smiled and nodded. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Okay, see ya." I said and he left the apartment.
I guess I better start packing.
What do you even bring to a road trip?

It was the next day and I was just double checking my bag if I had everything that I needed. I had told Jackson that I was leaving for a little while to go on a road trip
I scurried out of my apartment and waited outside for JB to arrive. After a few minutes, I saw his black car get closer and he pulled up in front of me. I took off my bag from my shoulder and hopped in the passenger seat.
"Hey!" I said and threw my bag in the backseat.
"Hey! You ready?" he faced me with a soft smile.
"Yeah, I'm really excited." I said as he started driving. "Do we have a specific destination?" I questioned.
"Not really. I think that we should just go where the road takes us." he replied. I nodded and looked out of the window.
As I watched all the stores, apartments and restaurants flash by, I felt like I was letting go of stress in a way.
The city life can sometimes make me feel anxious so leaving it might be good for me.
And hopefully, I'll leave all my struggles as well.
At least for now.
Because now I just want to spend some quality time with JB.
We stopped by a gas station and JB asked me to choose some snacks for the long trip while he filled up the gas.
I stepped inside the small store and scanned it for some good looking snacks. It was completely empty apart from the young male that was standing behind the counter.
I picked out some bags of different snacks and chose some drinks as well. I walked up to the counter and placed all the food and drinks so that I could pay.
The guy told me the price so I took out my wallet and payed.
"Have a nice day!" the guy smiled at me while handing me the plastic bag that contained all the goodies.
"Thank you, you too." I smiled back and exited the store. I hopped in the car where JB was already sitting and put the bag down by my feet.
"Ready?" he asked and we buckled up our seat belts.
"Yup." I smiled as he started the engine.
We were driving in silence and suddenly an idea popped in my head.
"Can I put on some music from my phone?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure. Here's the cord." he handed me a black cord while keeping his eyes on the road.
I took out my phone and connected it to the cord. I put my playlist on shuffle and we let Legend by Twenty one pilots blast through the speakers.
We sang along the lyrics and ended up screaming to them instead.
I think that this road trip will definitely be a lot of fun.
