Chapter 30

"JB?"

"Mh?"

"Can we stop here?"

He removed his gaze from in front of him to look at me.

"Sure." he smiled softly.

He stopped the car and I unbuckled my seat belt. I opened the door and stepped out. I heard him come out as well when I walked ahead.

I walked on the wooden platform that went further into the water of the lake and I walked to the very end.

I sat down on the wood and looked out at the dark water that reflected the dark blue sky perfectly.

The water seemed crystal clear and the stars almost looked like they were in the water when really, they were in the sky.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" JB said and took a seat beside me. I hummed in agreement but kept my gaze on the water.

We had taken off our shoes and rolled up our pants slightly and dipped our feet in the water.

Suddenly, he stood back up and went to the very edge. He started to unbutton his shirt so I looked at him confused.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I wanna take a dip." he replied. "Wanna join me?" he looked at me.

The water wasn't too cold.

"Sure." I replied and walked over to where he was standing.

He placed his hands on my white jacket and slowly took it off. He let it fall on the wood, not breaking eye contact with me.

He took the hem of my shirt in his hands and carefully slid it off.

He ran his hand down my arm ever so gently which caused me to get goosebumps.

He placed his hand on my bare chest and slid it down till he reached the hem of my pants.

He slid them down, following the movement with his whole body as he crouched down to be at the same level as my legs.

He took them off properly and stood back up.

He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me close.

I gently placed my hands on his chest and looked at the buttons that he didn't undo.

I slowly started to unbutton his shirt to reveal his toned chest.

I took off his shirt and put it down beside mine.

I removed his pants the same way he had removed mine and planted a sweet kiss on his cheek once I stood back up.

He smiled shyly and looked down.

"We forgot something." he whispered.

I tilted my head to the side slightly in confusion but soon realized what he was talking about.

"R-Right." I blushed. He smirked and pulled down my boxers which caused me to blush even harder.

He quickly did the same for himself and pecked my lips.

I mean, this wasn't the first time he has seen me naked but I still felt a little insecure.

"Ready?" he asked and took a hold of my hand.

"Yeah." I said.

We jumped into the water and I felt all my muscles tense up when the water roughly came in contact with my skin.

I released his hand and swam back up.

I took a deep breath and brushed my soaked hair out of my eyes.

I scanned the water but didn't see JB anywhere.

"JB?" I looked around.

"JB?"

I started to get worried.

"BOO!"

I screamed and quickly spun my body around to be faced with a laughing JB.

"That was not funny!" I yelled and splashed him with water.

"Haha you should've seen your face!" he laughed.

I pouted and gave his chest a hard push so that he fell backwards into the water.

Now it was my turn to laugh.

He swam over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I ran my fingers through his wet hair and brushed it back with a smile on my face.

He pulled me close to him and crashed our lips together.

I melted into the kiss and tangled my fingers in his soaked curls.

He placed his hand at the back of my neck, deepening the kiss.

We pulled away and he let me go. I slowly spun around and looked up at the stars.

I felt him put his hands on my hips and rest his chin on my shoulder.

"I love you." he whispered in my ear and gave it a light bite.

"I love you too."

He kissed the back of my neck which sent shivers down my spine.

He put his head back on my shoulder as we listened to the silence of the night.
