Brite knew just a bit what jealousy felt like when Drift talked with Sunny, but after admitting her feelings for him it only got worse. She excused herself, saying goodbye to her friend while she got closer to see what they were talking about. Sunny waved goodbye, seeing that her mission was accomplished.

"That's a really cool cloak, it fits you really well." One girl cooned.

'I got him that.' Brite added in her head.

"Is that a mask, can I touch it?"

'I got him that too!' She frowned while watching the attention Drift was getting. She didn't notice how uncomfortable he was, maybe that would've made her feel better about the whole thing. She could only remind herself that they were simply friends, and it wasn't her right to be upset over it.

'But I can do something about it.'

She didn't know what made her get up and walk so confidently over to Drift, but she did it without hesitation. If they were friends then she could at least do this, it wouldn't hurt to shoo them away.

"Excuse me but I can't see the movie with you in the way." She hissed at them. It wasn't often that Brite would ever be rude to anyone on the island, everyone knew her fairly well and if she were to be mad for even a second you'd better run and hope you live.

These girls knew that very, very well. Hence why they all apologized and made their way back to wherever they were seated.

"Brite?" Drift eyed her, he was quite surprised at her. The tone of her voice was a lot different than usual when she spoke to them. It made him extremely curious and it only confirmed his suspicions more. There was no doubt in his mind that she had a crush.

Brite crossed her legs and rapidly ate the fries she held in her hand. Not a word was said to him, she was eating her feelings away at the speed of light.

"Brite."

She frowned and continued eating more.

"Slow down or you'll-"

"Ack!" Brite squeaked as she choked on one of her fries, her face went red with embarrassment and in addition she couldn't breath or inhale.

Drift patted her back and instantly she was able to properly eat it, but not after breathing extremely hard and wondering if her life was going to end.

"I told you to slow down." He stiffled a laugh, if anything her being jealous was cute, he didn't mind it too much.

"Thanks.." Brite coughed and grabbed her slurp juice, gulping the thing down. Drift couldn't help it anymore, he started to laugh out loud and she turned to him, eyes narrowed while she continued to take sips out of her straw, "Stop laughing at me, what if I died?"

"But you didn't." He winked.

She nearly choked on her drink and a soft shade of pink faded onto her face, he laughed a bit more and she looked away, "Shush.."

"I'm sorry it's just you're so cute."

This time she actually choked on her drink, "Drift!"

"What? I'm just being honest." He laughed even harder at her, the red on her face was intensifying and he could only tone his laughter down to a small chuckle. So many things begged the question in his mind though, when would she admit it? The girl couldn't be anymore obvious, but something Drift couldn't deny was the fact that he was getting impatient. When he first met her he thought she was extremely annoying, too friendly, and not serious enough when they could've died at any moment. Even with this being true, Brite taught him to be more fun, how to relax and not be tense like Redline was all the time.
