There is always room for forgiveness...

╚═════════════ °° ═════════════╝

"You've got less than three days to show me you're ready to box her again," Felicity said circling around Serenity watching her perfect her moves for the billionth time. "Pretend that it's her and all the negative shit around you and fight that negativity from around you!"

For the past week, Serenity had been staying with Felicity. Felicity made sure she was good and they both got their work done and ended up practicing for the major end of the year fight that consisted Serenity and of course, Jaiza.

Felicity knew Serenity had in the bag. She just wanted Serenity to know she had it herself considering the fact Serenity had been fidgeting all week and practically not being in her right state of mind. Especially, catching her telling herself that practicing wasn't gonna do her any justice.

Felicity continued to watch Serenity as she threw sharp hits towards the dummy. Harder than she seen Serenity hit before. And before she knew it, Serenity drew her hand back so far and sent it towards the dummy, dislocating her shoulder.

Serenity fell towards the floor and sent a blood curling scream into the air. Felicity quickly ran over to her and sat her up and examined the clear dislocated shoulder.

"Look, I know this is easier said than done but I want you to relax for me," Felicity said. "And sit up straight while relaxing yourself got it?"

"How the fuck am I supposed to relax?!?! This shit hurts!" Serenity yelled in agony basically letting tears fall from her eyes.

Felicity wiped her tears and tried reassuring her the best way she knew how. "Just try and calm down and afterward we can go out and get some food," Felicity spoke.

Serenity sat up and tried relaxing the best way she could and Felicity could clearly see her shoulder blade poking out more than it should. So, Felicity directed her to take some deep breathes and relax a bit more. And so Serenity tired and accomplished the relaxing part. As bad as her shoulder was screaming discomfort she followed Felicity's instructions.

Felicity began massaging her trapezius and her biceps. She did that for more than a minute.

"Now sit up straight one for time for me," Felicity instructed seeing that Serenity's shoulder going back in quickly.

Serenity gawked her eyes at Felicity. "Are you trying to make me taller or trying to help me?" Serenity asked sitting up once more.

Felicity chuckled at her sudden joke. "Yeah, I'ma need you to stay short. You'on need to get taller than me. I'm the tall mother fucker up in hea'. But look your shoulder it's back in. All we need to do is wrap it up and ice it and then we can get some food," Felicity said standing up.

Serenity shook her head and stood up. "Nah, I don't need all that wrapping up. I need to get back practicing Li. I need the practice," Serenity said sliding up her gloves.

Felicity tried grabbing Serenity's gloves but Serenity moved in the opposite direction. "What you need to do is si-"

"Stop telling me what I need to do Li! What you need to do is sit the fuck down and let me do me for a few minutes. I need to get right I need to," Serenity said positioning up again.

Serenity felt as if she wasn't good enough all of a sudden. Memories from her father and mother beating on her constantly replayed like a song on repeat in her mind. She didn't know where the sudden emotions came from but it was hitting her like a ton of bricks.

Tension had risen up in the room and Felicity was clearly frustrated with Serenity. All she wanted to do was help her for a few seconds so that she wouldn't pop her shoulder out again.

"I know what you need Serenity. You nee-"

"You don't know what I need. Don't you think I've been told that sentence all my life? I need to do this and I need to do that. I'm so tired of that fucking sentence I don't know wheater to pull out my braids or kill myself. I had enough of that shit from my mother and now you tell me what I need to do? Felicity," Serenity looked at her and focused her vision back on the dummy. "Get the fuck out my way."

Felicity looked at her wondering what she did wrong. She didn't know whether to be mad at her or just leave her alone but her madness overcame her and she walked up to Serenity pointing her finger in her face.

"You know what? I've had it with you and your disrespectful ass Serenity. I don't know what the fuck has gotten into your mind this past week and maybe it's the fight. I get your situation and that it's piling up on you but fuck Serenity. I got feelings too. Don't you think I'm trying my damn hardest to help you out, get you right and trying to help you not focus on that shit? I'm deadass fed up with your shit Serenity. And last time I fucking checked you don't stay here so you get the fuck out my way and out this house!" Felicity yelled.

Neither of the two meant to hurt each other. Serenity didn't mean to hurt Felicity feelings and Felicity didn't mean the last sentence she spoke knowing that she hurt Serenity.

Serenity looked at Felicity once more before snatching off the gloves and throwing them down.

"Fuck you, Felicity," Serenity said attempting to walk off but Felicity grabbed her.

"Don't. Touch. Me." Serenity said pushing Felicity off of her.

Tears were clearly falling from her eyes. She was hurt and she didn't know Felicity had felt that way about her.

Felicity wasn't gonna let her walk up the stairs and out her life. So, Felicity grabbed her again.

"I'm sorry," Felicity said wiping her tears away. "I didn't mean it. It was all in the heat of the moment. I'm sorry." Felicity constantly apologized.

Serenity looked into her eyes and had a battle within herself to forgive her or walk away. More of her wanted to stay but a small part of her wanted to leave.

"I'm sorry for coming at you like that Li. It's just that I felt so much at once. I didn't know how to control my emotions neither my mouth. It's my fault and you should apologize for something I caused," Serenity spoke.

"It isn't your fault. It's mines too. I continued to talk when my words weren't supposed to interfere. You got that fight in the bag stop forcing yourself to work harder because from my view you've worked so hard and progressed so much.I'm so fucking proud of you. And you're more than welcome to stay longer if you want shit you're more than welcome to stay forever real talk," Felicity said smiling.

Serenity smiled and shook her head. They just smiled at each other standing in each other's presence. Neither wanted to say another word.

Felicity just caressed Serenity's face tilting up her chin. She looked from her eyes to her lips. Closing her eyes, Felicity pressed her lips against Serenity. She pulled away and smiled. Both smiled actually.

Both breathes were taken away and both felt a set of butterflies in the pit of their stomachs.

"Do you forgive me?" Felicity asked.

Serenity nodded her head and continued smiling before kissing her once more.

I'll take that as a yes, Felicity thought.
