"I didn't think I'd run into you here," Jason stood over me.

"I wasn't expecting to see you either," but I was going to call him later....

"You waiting for anyone?"

"No."

"Then is it all right if I join you?" Jason pointed to the empty seat across from me.

I smiled, "Why not?"

"Thanks," he sat down.

Wait? What am I doing? I haven't been on a date since...since...well...never mind.

But who said this was a date?

"Have you ordered?" Jason's blue eye lightened while his brown one darkened, sending chills up my spine.

"Um, yeah," I tried not to stare, "I ordered a hawaiian. I might not be able to eat it all, would you like to share it with me?"

"Are you sure, I might eat it all," Jason joked, "I haven't eaten all day."

I laughed, "Were you working on your film?"

"Uh, yeah," he gave me a look, "How did you know about that?"

I blushed, does he think I'm a stalker now?

"I heard it on the radio."

"That's right. The whole reason I did that was to advertise but, seeing that I don't have all my cast yet, I might not get to keep up with what I promised that night." Jason's smile faded.

The waiter came to our table and set down our...large pepperoni pizza?

"Um, excuse me, but I ordered a small hawaiian!"

"Oh, sorry ma'm," the young waiter, probably still in high school, said in a monotone voice, "But that's what you ordered."

"But, this isn't my order!"

"Hey," Jason put his hand on mine, "Do like pepperoni?"

"Well, yes, but I didn't order that!" I turned back to look at the waiter, "Young man I will not pay for this."

The waiter just rolled his eyes.

"Look, Kelsy, if it makes you feel better I'll pay for it," Jason offered, drawing my attention back to him.

"But-"

"No buts," Jason turned to the waiter, "That's all thank you."

The waiter sighed and left.

"You don't have to pay for this," I said, feeling embarrassed for how I acted.

"Don't talk, eat."

After we had finished our meal in silence, I decided to get Jason talking about his work.

"So, did you find another actress to replace Silvia Barns?"

"Not yet." He looked like he didn't want to talk about it.

"Do you think I could help you in any way?" I asked, "You know, to repay you for the-"

"The pizza?" Jason skanned me.

I nodded sheepishly.

"Well, I don't know," Jason ran his fingers through his hair while he thought.

Then he smiled as if a lightbulb had been turned on, "I guess you could be of some use. Do you have a job?"

"Not exactly," I had been mostly relying on my savings, but now that the "piggy bank" is almost empty, it's time to get back on track.

"Good," Jason smiled and rubbed his hands together, "How do you feel about replacing Silvia Barns?"

"What?" my jaw dropped.

"Do you want to act as the main part in my film? It would be benificial for both of us. You don't have a job, so you would get paid by doing this and I would be able to finish my movie before the end of the year."

"I've never had any acting skills or whatever you would call it."

"That's okay, I'll teach you. You'll just do whatever I tell you and you'll do fine."

"Do I even look the part? I mean, look at my hair and my face."

"What's wrong with your hair and your face?"

"Does Silvia Barns have strawberry hair and freckles? No, she has golden blond hair and perfect, smooth skin."

"True, but I like your hair and your freckles just add to your uniqueness!" Something flashed in Jason's eyes, "I think you're perfect for the part."

I blushed. Yeah, and your two different colored eyes add to your uniqueness too.

"Do you really think so?"

"Yes!" Jason raised his eyebrows causing his eyes to lighten and darken again, "Now, are you in, or are you out?"

I smiled, "I'm in."

Hello readers!

Please comment and let me know how you're enjoying the story! I would love to hear your thoughts on the plot! But please do not feal pressured to comment.

I found a pic for Jason, except the colors of his eyes are switched. I do apologize for the fact that it doesn't show his whole face, but such as life.

Please let me know if you like the picture I chose for Jason.

Another thing, please understand that people with two different colored eyes are a rarity, so there aren't a whole lot of pictures of people with the trait.

Hope you like the story and have a good rest of the day/night!

P.S. If you have heterochromia, like me (the author), type away and comment about it.
