Chapter 1- Celebrate Good Times

A year has passed since Laxus asked me to move in with him, everything has been going great and our relationship is still going strong. My magic ability has grown ten fold too, Laxus is really proud of my progress from when I first joined Fairy Tail.

"So, shall we get going now?" Laxus asked.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see my old guild again, 6 months has passed very quickly." I replied.

"Me too!" Pika added.

Me and Laxus boarded the train to Shirotsume and prepared for the long journey ahead.

"Ah, it feels so nice to not feel motion sickness." I sighed happily.

"Yeah, Wendy's an impressive kid." Laxus replied.

"I'm just a bit annoyed though that she didn't mention about her Troia spell until a couple of months ago." I said.

"Well, what do you expect, you don't really work with her so how are you to know." Laxus stated.

"Yeah that's true." I replied.

We arrived at Shirotsume and walked over to the new and improved Howling Dragons guild hall. They've made their guild hall bigger over the past year and they've gained a lot of new members, it's nice to see the guild doing so well.

"Hey guys." I said as I walked through the doors.

"Akari!" Everyone said excitedly.

Everyone crowded around me and Laxus to say hi, Master Chikao came over to talk to me.

"How are you doing young one?" Master Chikao asked me.

"I'm doing good thanks, looks like the guild is doing really well too." I said with a smile.

"Yes, we're the top guild in Shirotsume now, we're getting lots of requests for jobs, it's quite amazing." Master Chikao smiled.

"I'm so glad to hear that." I replied.

"Akari!" I heard someone call out before they put their arms around me suddenly.

"Some things never change. How are you doing Kasumi?" I asked with a grin.

"I'm doing great thanks. How are you and Laxus getting on?" Kasumi said with a giggle.

"We're still together." I answered.

"Oh that's wonderful!" Kasumi exclaimed.

"What's wonderful?" Someone questioned.

All three of us turned around and saw Swift stood in the doorway.

"Hi Swift." I said.

"Akari, it's so nice to see you." Swift said with a smile as he walked over and gave me a hug.

"It's nice to see you too." I replied.

"How are you doing Laxus?" Swift said as he shook Laxus' hand.

"I'm doing well mate, you're looking well too." Laxus replied.

"Yeah, we've had an amazing few months, different stuff going on." Swift said.

"Aw that's brilliant, let's grab a seat and catch up." I mentioned.

"Yeah, can I hold Pika for a while?" Swift asked.

"Sure, go ahead." I replied.

Swift crouched down and picked Pika up off the ground and cuddled her into him.

"You're still super cute." Swift said with a beaming smile.

"I've missed you Swift." Pika replied.
