Epilogue - A Long Time Coming

Hey guys, Akari here! I thought I would just let you know about different stuff that has happened since my engagement party. It's been five years since that day and me and Laxus are happily married. I decided to handle the wedding since Laxus probably couldn't handle the stress (don't tell him that I said that). We got married really quickly, we had a spring wedding in March which was beautiful with all the cherry blossoms blooming. A few months after that, mine and Laxus' little bundle of joy came into the world, Sparky Dreyar, a lovely baby girl. It's rare to see Laxus cry, but I definitely caught him shedding a few tears when he was holding her for the first time. He absolutely adores her. We had a long think about what to call her but the only name which we both came up with was 'Sparky' I guess it's because it's a really special word to us, since it's a common nickname that Laxus uses to tease me. We did think about having more kids but I think me and Laxus agree at the moment that one kid is plenty. As for Swift and Kasumi, their little one was born a couple of months after we got married, a baby boy named Azul. Swift and Kasumi got married 2 years after we did, they did a lot of saving and planning to make it special and thought it was the right time. We visit Shirotsume regularly when we're passing by or have some time on our hands and the Howling Dragons guild is growing bigger and bigger every time we visit. About a year ago I saw a familiar face at the guild, yep, that girl Audra who I met whilst training for S-Class, she joined Howling Dragons and her magic has improved so much; surprising for a young girl like her.

Speaking of S-Class, guess who's made it on the list... me! I finally managed to complete the trial (properly this time). This happened the next year after the one I was previously in. I didn't expect to be picked, but I guess Master Makarov figured that I still had a chance. Training was a bit tougher since I had pregnancy weight to lose, plus looking after Sparky, but Freed partnered up with me again and we managed to win, although I must admit that his training regimes were strict.

To be honest, love has been in the air over the last couple of years, so many people have gotten together into relationships, Natsu and Lucy, well, their relationship did look a bit rocky to start off with, mostly down to Natsu acting like a big kid. Who else got together? Oh yeah, Gajeel and Levy, they are the sweetest couple and they got engaged last year too! Gray and Juvia finally got together, um, oh Max and his broom... actually, I'm not gonna go there again. Yeah things are going great.

I think that covers everything, if it doesn't then let me know. Overall, I just want to say a massive thank you to you all for following my journey. I've bloomed from amateur wizard in a small guild to S-Class wizard in one of the biggest guilds in Fiore. I've met amazing people and made friends for life along the way, as well as finding the love of my life. I've had ups and downs, but I've had so many adventures too. So many smiles and laughs, yet so many tears too. All in all, I'm loving every moment of my life and I'm sure it'll only get better from here. Thank you again! Akari signing off. Peace out!

I just want to thank you guys for reading the 'From One Dragon To Another' series. Even if you only read the first fanfic, it still means so much to me. I hope that this slightly shorter fanfic provided some entertainment and excitement following on from the first one. I never thought I would get so many readers, reading and enjoying my work, but it's brought me joy writing these fanfictions for you guys, so thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy them.

As for where I'm venturing next, I'm not too sure yet, I would love to publish some more work if you all would like so more fanfictions to read from me. I'm considering writing a Fraxus (Freed X Laxus) fanfiction (since Freed didn't get his man in this fanfic XD), but also, I was thinking of creating a fanfic revolving around their backstories, since not a lot is said about their younger years (Freed especially). So if that sounds appealing to you then let me know and I'll consider writing it (probably end of May).

In terms of other anime fandoms, I do want to write a fanfiction based on another anime, however it'll take me some time to come up with an idea, and I'll have to pick an anime that I'm passionate about to help me write it, so watch this space.
