-Jess's POV-

I'm psyched for today! I'm up before my alarm even goes off which is an amazing feat for someone like me. I walk toward my bathroom to shower and do my morning routine. After my refreshing shower, I walk out in my towel going to my closet. There I choose my black and white running shorts, Nike sneakers, a pair of socks, my underclothes, and a tank top. This tank top says, 'Mascara and Muscles'. Its a pretty rad shirt if I do say so myself, which I do.

I hop down the stairs in a bubbly mood.

"What up with you sis?" Zack says.

"She has football practice today." Gabe replies in the duh tone we are all so familiar with.

"Well sorry, I forgot Mister I know everything about everyone." that's right, my brothers still act like they are 5.

"Why do I have to live with people that act as if they were 5?" I ask my ceiling, expressing my thoughts. I then got squished into a,

"HUG TIME! To show our beloved baby sister we wuve her." My idiotic brothers crush me into a bone crushing hug from both sides.

"Yeah, yeah, Now let go." I say while peeling their arms off me, and walking into the kitchen to grab some cereal and milk for breakfast.

I grab my sports stuff and stick it in the trunk of the SUV which both of us were driving in today.

"Time to go bro!"

"Coming!" he shouted back. Jogging towards the car I asked him,

"Hey did you notice what i did there, i ryhmed."

"Wow, so cool sis, you must be in bliss" he ryhmed back.

"That didnt even make sense," I argued grumpily, while crossing my arms over my chest in defeat.

"Ya sure it didn't, sore loser."

"You'll be the one sore after I kick your butt after school at practice."

"We're on different fields dummy." he replied.

"Oh, shut up." I hadn't even realized we had gotten to school until my brother got out of the car. I grabbed my equipment in the trunk, and thankfully we were early so no one saw me, and brought it into the gym teacher's office.

"Hey, Mr. Peterson," I greeted politely.

"Don't be so formal and come give your uncle a hug!" that's right he was my uncle, my mom's brother. My other uncle, on my mom's side, also works here. But my aunt was my mom's sister, so their last name is Edward. I know most people don't move to another state that makes you closer to the thing you were escaping, but it is my dad's way of staying connected, but at the same time away, if that makes sense.

"Sure thing, Uncle Mike." Uncle Mike was average height for a male. He had a deep voice, dirty blonde hair, and chocolate brown eyes that reminded me of teddy bears. Although he looked intimidating he was actually quite a big softie, in a way he was just a big teddy bear.

"How you been, kido?"

"Same as always. A little sad about leaving PA, but Cali is alright.Alright...fine, a lot sad about leaving, but you know."

"Ya I do. How's the rest of the family doing?"

"Good. Gabe is on the soccer team and Zach (A/N I'm changing the spelling of Zack to Zach) is going to college, and dad has his job."
