Recap:

I went to the stables and started suiting up a beautiful brown horse. Suprisingly, the horse was calm. Good thing I knew how to tame and ride a horse because of my father's old job as a worker on a farm, so I guess a farmer.

Plan B was now ready and now I was heading over to Amelia's cottage. Her cottage was close by, but not very close because she was a maid she had to live close by, but not in the way of the king.

Well, anyways here I go. I'm going to get some answers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The horse was running so fast I felt like I was flying. It was almost as if there were no problems, or worries, or sadness in the world. The moon was shining down on us making it seem as if we were the only things in the world. My hair was getting messed up, but I didn't care, I just kept smiling.

There was no guards or walls to keep me locked up. No prophecies or messages to scare me. I felt free. I WAS free.

Don't get me wrong I was probably one of the most free people in this region. And I know Ashton is trying to protect me, but he couldn't take away my worries, and right now I had no worries. That is until I showed up at the maid's cottage.

All those feelings of happiness and a sense of freedom went away and were replaced with nervousness and curiosity.

I walked up to the homey cottage after tying up the horse to a tree, so it wouldn't run off. I knocked on the door.  A woman who was maybe 26 opened the door. She had beautiful dark skin with striking blue eyes and long black hair. She smiled at me and opened the door wider. "What can I do for you princess?"

"Is Amelia Ridge here?" I ask.

"Yes princess. Come inside and I will get her right away." She lets me inside and goes to get Amelia.

The cottage was very cozy and homey. The cottage was definitely better than my old house. It looked like there were 4 bedrooms, all without doors, and all with straw beds. I remember my straw bed. It was actually comfier than it looked. The only problem was you always woke up with straw in your hair and it was hard to get out.

I see Amelia come from what looked like the kitchen. I smile at her. "What are you doing here princess?" It was weird hearing your friend call you princess, but I understand that she had to because of the other maids.

"Can we actually talk somewhere more private?" I shyly ask. I was uncomfortable knowing the other maids could hear our talking.

Amelia nods and takes me outside by a little pond near the cottage. We sit down on the grass, and I was thankful that spring was now changing into summer. "What did you want to talk about Kylie?" She seemed genuinely curious and a tad bit worried. Most likely because the royal family is not allowed at the maids cottage except when it is necessary.

This is because a long time ago a king repeatedly came to the maids cottage because he was cheating on his wife with a maid. When people found out the maid was pregnant with the king's child, no one trusted him anyone because if he couldn't stay faithful to his wife then how could he protect and stay loyal to an entire kingdom. Anyways enough story time.

"Yes, actually I need to ask you something about the prophecy." Amelia's eyes widen and she reluctantly nods her head. "What can you tell me about it?"

"Do you now what the prophecy is?" I nod. "When the kingdom first found out about the prophecy the king and queen told everyone no to the princes; King Ashton and King Issac. Well apparently King Issac, King Ashton's twin-"
