cameron was in a game with toby, john, and jaren. as his friends cracked jokes he stayed quiet, focusing on the game. he was afraid that if he talked to much he'd either cry or confess his small crush.
"you okay cam?" toby's voice filled his headphones.
"yeah im great! just focusing on the game!" cam laughed, hoping he played it off well. no one asked anymore questions, he let go of a breath he didn't know he was holding.
eventually everyone left, it was just cam and jaren left in the call. cameron cursed himself for not leaving earlier.
"im gunna go," cam choked out, voice cracking because of the nervousness.
"okay," jaren replied with.
before cam could leave jaren said one more thing.
"i hope you're okay cam, you deserve nothing but happiness."
cameron smiled, not replying.
he clicked off the call, taking a deep breath as soon as his computer turned off.
jaren was making him crazy, more good ways then bad.
cam closed his eyes, letting the silence take over and fill in.
just a little longer and then pax, he would get to see everyone, take his mind off things. he would get to see jaren.
the boy he liked.
