"dance with me. bring my demons to their knees."

two years, it's been two years since they danced that night, since they have kissed.

as jaren walked into the apartment he immediately noticed the rose petals leading to his room, along with candles.

he placed down his bag and started walking towards the room. on the other side he could hear perfect by ed sheeran playing.

and when the door opened jaren almost broke down. roses petals placed on the bed in the shape of a heart, candles everywhere, the lights dimmed. and cameron stood in front of jaren, hair gelled up, a nice tux on.

"cameron..? what's all this?"

"jaren, hi." the canadian chuckled at the others awkwardness.

cameron cleared his throat, "anyways, j-jaren i uh, so we uh have been dating for a while. and um," cam looked at his boyfriend. his soft features and tiny smile made the anxiety suddenly disappeared.

"i am so hopelessly in love with you. from the first moment i have heard your voice over discord i knew i'd fall for you. the night we danced was the most magical night ever. that kiss meant everything to me, it sent sparks through my body and from that moment forward i was absolutely crazy about you. i want to spend the rest on my life with you baby, so jaren, would you marry me?"

as cameron got onto one knee, jaren bursted out crying, happy tears of course. he was barely able to speak the word 'yes' because he was so overwhelmed with emotion.

"fucking duh you idiot!" cameron laughed, standing up and putting the ring onto jaren's finger.

"dance with me please?"

jaren smiled and took cameron's hands, "of course love."

so they danced, until their limbs hurt. they held each other like they would lose the other as soon as they let go. it was just them in this moment, together.

neither of them would take back these couple of years together for the world. this is were the needed to be,

together.
