I sat in his passenger seat as he drove me home. It was a peaceful ride. Quiet, but not awkward. A pretty silence.
"I had a lot of fun" I said.
"Yeah, me too." Harry replied, briefly taking his eyes off the road so they could lock with mine.
"So I saw you talking to Noah at school today" Harry added.
"Yeah. It wasn't much though." I told him.
"Anything I should know about him?" I added.
"Not specifically. Just be careful. Lincoln has a lot of good people and a lot of bad people." Harry warned.
"What are you?" I asked.
"Well...you'll just have to wait and see." He said, giggling while his eyes gleamed.
He parked the car on the side opposite the street from my house. He quickly got out, ran to my side, and opened the door for me. Luke never did that. I got out and pushed the thought of Luke back to the back of my mind.
"Thank you" I mentioned to Harry as we were crossing the street to my front door. The family room light was on, telling me that my parents were home.
"It was my pleasure." Harry said, blushing.
We reached the front door of my home and said our goodbyes. I pulled out my keys and attempted to unlock the door, but was stopped by a hand under my chin. Harry placed his other hand on the other side of my chin, and lifted my face so I was looking directly at him. All of a sudden, he smashed his lips into mine and didn't let go for a few seconds. He pulled away, smiling and licking his lips.
"I've been wanting to do that since I sat down next to you." Harry's eyes widened as he realized what he said and what he did.
"Oh my god." He sput out.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking and you're so beautiful and I'm-"
"It's okay." I interrupted him.
He blushed and bit his bottom lip. God, he was so beautiful.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Spencer."
"See you tomorrow, Styles."
I walked inside, greeted by confusing glances from my family.
"Well, hey there." My father said.
"Where did you go the eve of your first day of school?" My mother interrogated.
"Nowhere." I told them.
"Elizabeth...remember our deal? You said you'd always tell us where you were going.." My mother, Eleanor, sternly mentioned.
"I just went on a date.." I mumbled.
"A date? On your first day? Who could you have possibly met on the first day?" My mother is so nosy.
This is why I spend time as much time away from my family as possible. Too proper and sophisticated for my taste. No wonder I'm the outcast of this family.
"His name's Harry." I reluctantly told them.
"Harry..who?" Questioned my father, Michael.
"Styles. We just went to a coffee shop, nothing exciting." I quickly ran up the stairs before they could ask any more questions.
I undressed and changed into my night clothes. It was already 11 p.m. I threw my phone onto the bed, walked to my bathroom, and began to wash my face. When I sat on my bed and turned on the television, I was startled by my phone vibrating on the bedside table. It was a text.
