Paralyzed

  After Bucky had took Peter to the hospital, they learned that he was in a coma. Bucky let them all have a couple minutes each with Peter. It was Ned's turn. He went in there and put his hand on Peter's hand. "Peter, please wake up dude. I need you man. Going on in life without you would be impossible. I mean a life without you wouldn't be worth living. So please wake up."
Now it was Bucky's turn. "Hey, kid. I really don't know if I'm in a place in your life to share a personal message with you, but I wanted to tell you something. You remind me so much of Steve. Before the serum, he was always going causing trouble with bad people, they would beat him down to the ground over and over again, and would alway get up and start fighting again. He would say I can do this all day. I guess what I'm trying to tell you is I know that you've took a big hit this time, but I know that you, just like Steve, can get back up and continue this fight."
Now it was MJ's turn. "Peter, I really don't understand why this is happening to you. All you ever do is help people, and the world made you pay for sins that you didn't make. I just don't understand why the world gives you more and more pain everyday. I just want you to be okay because I love you. I love you so much Peter Parker. I've been in love with you for a long time, and now all I want is for all your pain to go away, so please wake up. Please wake up for me Peter."
Peter heard every word spoken to him, but he was paralyzed and he didn't know why. He tried to cry out, and tell them all not to worry, but every time he tried, he couldn't find his voice. Peter always tried so hard not to be scared, but he was failing right now. Every fiber of his being was petrified. He started to worry that May was disappointed in him. May used to say, "Peter, the monsters in this world want you to get scared of them because they're afraid of you. You might not see that now, but monsters are really weak, and they use your fear to make you seem weak. If they try to scare you over and over again, it's because they see you as a threat. So next time you face a monster remind it why it's afraid of you." He didn't know how that worked in this scenario, because Mysterio has way more power than he does, and he doesn't know why Mysterio would be afraid of him. He doesn't know what Mysterio has against him anyway.

Back in the hotel room, MJ, Ned, Flash, Betty, and Bucky were just sitting in silence. They were scared for Peter. Especially MJ. She was torn up. She asked over and over again what Peter did to deserve all the terrible things that happened to him. Everyone agreed. Bucky was thinking about why Mysterio started going after Peter. So when Flash and Betty fell asleep, he asked Ned and MJ if he might've done anything to set Mysterio off. MJ and Ned both said no. "That makes no sense. Mysterio doesn't seem like the guy who has time to play around with a kid like Peter." He started going through everything Peter had done in the past 2 years, and eventually found something interesting.
