Little Souls

Poor little girl,

So lost and confused,

Drinking in the sorrow,

Of a never coming tomorrow.

Poor little boy,

Who missed a few steps,

Now lost on a new paths,

Of a silent aftermath.

You don’t know where to go,

Because you’re in your undisturbed woe.

People see but they just don’t know.

How did you become so lost?

Was no one there to guide you,

Back after you fell?

You were left alone.

Poor little girl,

Feels miniscule,

And doesn’t know what to do.

Poor little boy,

Clings to a toy,

And doesn’t know what to do.
