Strange Like Me

Are you strange like me?

Prefer fields of pumpkins for company.

Can you wait for the nights to draw in,

Revealing the moon's delicate sin?

Are you odd like me?

Leafs bleeding orange a sight to see.

Excited by the chill in the air,

Feeling the season change without a care.

Are you strange like me?

The darkness letting you be free.

Swallow you up in a woollen coat,

Hot chocolate burning down your throat.

Are you odd like me?

Content to let the shadows be.

The frost crackling over the ground,

Is always such a pleasant sound.

Are you strange like me?

Use spiders and their webs as an accessory.

Mist and dew strung like lace,

Lattice draping over your face.

So under an ink-stained sky I bask,

And this I humbly ask:-

Are you odd like me?

Do you also see?

Are you strange like me?

Have you too found the key?

Are you like me?
