{Y/N POV}

I wake up to see Sal, Larry and Todd looking at me with worried looks on their faces. I feel something cold on my forehead. I look up and slightly see an ice pack.

"Oh, thank god you're not dead!" Larry hugs me. I awkwardly pat his back. I remove the ice pack and hand it to Sal.

"Don't worry babe, I'm good." He helps me off the ground. I look at the bathroom and see a ghost of a man. "Oh, I wasn't dreaming. Great..." I take a deep breath and make my way inside. "If you hear something hit the ground, just know I fainted again." They all nod as I close the door behind me.

"Sorry for scaring you earlier, babycakes. Are you alright?" Babycakes. He gave me that nickname when I was five. We were baking a cake for my birthday, just the two of us. He thought it would be funny. I look at the man- I mean dad and wave my hand.

"No worries, you're good." We both chuckle until it falls silent. I gulp and take a good look at my dad. His clothes are ripped and burned. His face and body have cuts and bruises, along with burn marks. "That fire really messed you up, didn't it?" He chuckles again.

"Yes, but not as bad as to what happened to you. Does it..."

"Hurt? Not anymore. I remember screaming in agony during the process, though. THAT wasn't fun." I sigh and look away. "Why are you here, Dad?" He sighs.

"Ghost are bound to their place of death, but as soon as someone helped me escape, I had to see you. The first time, though, I was too afraid."

"Was that the time I was getting ready before the dance?" He nods. "Huh. So those were your whispers." He nods again.

"I'm sorry for troubling you, babycakes. I just wanted to be able to talk with you again." I sadly smile. I then remove my mask, hearing a gasp from dad.

"Yeah, I get that reaction a lot. But what happened to you? You didn't deserve that."

"Death comes unexpectedly, and like some, I was next." He extends his ghostly arm to me but it phases right through. He frowns. "I missed you, babycakes. I miss holding you, tucking you to bed, and having fun with you. And that fire messed with our family." Ghostly tears start to fall from his ghostly eyes. I too, feel tears forming.

"I miss you so much, Dad. And now that Mom isn't with us, I feel twice as pathetic. I let you and Mom down as a daughter!" I start to sob.

"Babycakes, don't blame yourself. You did nothing, and I mean NOTHING wrong. Now, I'm not necessarily blaming those stoned teens that decided to knock over two lit candles, but this whole thing isn't your fault. Mom and I are so proud of you. You grew as a person and I couldn't be any more proud."

"Is... is Mom with you right now?" He nods and I smile. "Tell her... tell her I miss her, okay? And that I love her so much..." I sob some more.

"I will, Y/N... I will." I gasp as he melts away.

"No, no Dad! Come back, please! Please don't leave me again, please!" I sob so hard that my throat starts to hurt. I get up from the ground and look at the mirror. I raise my fist and punch it, hard. The glass shatters everywhere. I look at my knuckles and see a bloody mess. Well, that's gonna leave a mark. The door bursts open and Sal immediately hugs me, us falling on the ground. Larry and Todd join. I hug them back as I cry some more. I hear a few sniffles from the guys.

"We're here for you, Y/N. We're right here..." Sal strokes my hair.

At least I answered dad's call...
