{Y/N POV}

"And then I punched the mirror!" Ash gasps and looks at my hand closely. "It doesn't hurt thaaaat much." She glares at me. "Okay, maybe a teensy bit."

It's the day after I talked with Dad. I tried to summon him again but it didn't work. Let's just say I cried myself to sleep that night. Good thing the boys were there. Right now we are at Ash's house, watching some T.V.

"Let me get you some new bandages." Ash gets up and heads to her bathroom.

"I probably shouldn't have told her." I look at Sal.

"Yeah. But either way, she was going to find out by looking at your hand. I mean, you fucked it up real bad Y/N." I bit my lip. The last time I punch a mirror was right after Mom died. I couldn't be alone for a while. Aunt Carol thought I might hurt myself... in another way.

"I'm back. Here." Ash grabs my hand and removes the old bandage. And the wraps around a new one and clips it. "There, you should be good for a couple of hours." I smile at her.

"Thanks Ash." We then hear the phone ring. "I'll get it." I get up and pick up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hi Y/N. It's Aunt Carol."

"Oh, hey Aunt Carol, what's up?"

"I need you to come home. Right now." She sounds... scared. "Please."

"Um, sure. I'll be home in a few." I look at everyone and they turn their heads the other way, pretending like they didn't hear what was going on. I roll my eyes. "I'm heading out. See you guys tomorrow." They all say their goodbye and I exit the door.

{time skip!}

I unlock the door and enter the house. I see Aunt Carol on the floor, her eyes wide and puffy. Has she been... crying?

"Oh my god, Aunt Carol are you okay?!" I run to her and check her. Good, she's not hurt. "What happened?!"

"I-I was making dinner when the phone rang. I picked it up a-and all I heard was... breathing. B-but that's not the worst part. It spoke a few seconds later, a-and it s-sounded like... Madison..." My eyes widen. Maddie? But, I thought she was dead. My heart races as I lift a shaking hand up to my aunt's arm.

"Okay, okay—um—I-I'm sure there's an explanation for all this. L-let's just... lie down for now." I help Aunt Carol up and bring her to the couch. She lays as I make her some tea.

One question still lingers in my mind, though. Why Madison out of everyone?
