Finally, The Truth

{Larry's POV}

It's been a week, a week and Y/N still hasn't said what's bothering her. Today is the final straw! I enter her house. She's asleep on her couch, while the T.V. is on. I sadly smile and walk over to her. I look to see she's been... crying? Shit.

"Hey, sweetheart, wake up." I nudge her and she immediately wakes up, gasping. "It's okay, it's only me." She wraps her arms around me, sighing. "Are you alright?"

"Not really." She takes a deep breath. "It's just... I haven't been honest with you or anyone lately. I guess I need to tell you..." I lift her off the couch and on me, her legs wrapping around my waist.

"Let's go find the others, okay?" She nods.

{time skip!}

{Y/N POV}

"First, I want to apologize for my behavior these past few days." We are now in Larry's room. I'm sitting on his bed while everyone else sits on the floor to look at me. "I know that I've been acting weird and somewhat distant. But now... I need to tell you what's wrong."

They all stay silent, begging for me to continue. I take a deep breath. "Okay... I had a sister once. Her name was Madison. We were really close, but my mom didn't like her to much. She would sneak out a lot and do bad things. My mom would threaten her that she's not setting a good example for me, but she didn't care. In the end I think she hung out with me because she felt bad? I'll never know. One day she just... left. No note or anything. Just gone. My mom couldn't care less as to where she went, probably to my grandparents. Either way, I was devastated! But then a few weeks later, we got a knock on the door. A police officer was there and told us that she was... dead. Overdose on heroine. I cried for a few days, then got upset. Mad, even. Why take her, y'know?" Sal gets up from the floor and hugs me. I return it and he sits down next to me.

"Is this what's upsetting you though? Because I think there might be more." I nod.

"Yeah, that's not all. After I got home from hanging at Ash's house, I found Aunt Carol on the ground crying. I panicked and asked her what was wrong. She said that she was making dinner when the phone rang. She answered it and heard... breathing. Then she heard a voice... Madison's voice. Of course, I was too shaken up to piece everything together so I told her not to worry about it for now and to leave it to me. Now, I don't even know WHAT to think. I mean, years ago I'm told she's dead and now she's talking to my aunt!"

Larry perks up. "What did she say?"

"She said something like 'Help me, I'm scared'." Ash puts her finger on her chin.

"Damn, this is insane. So your sister might not be dead after all. But then why would the police lie to you?" I shrug my shoulders.

"Not sure. For now, my aunt and I aren't gonna worry about it now. Unless something like this happens again, then we'll see."

Suddenly, the phone rings. I look at everyone, my eyes wide. I get up from the bed and make my way to the kitchen, everyone else following behind. I pick up the phone.

"Hello?" Nothing... but breathing. The type of breathing of someone who has been running. "Who is this?"

"H—llo? —s any—ne t—here?" It sounds like Madison.

"Maddie? I can barley hear you. Are you okay?"

"I need h—lp. They ha— me. I— so sc—red, Y/N. F—nd me, pl—se. I'm here, in—-" It cuts off.

"Shit, Maddie? Maddie! Answer me! Are you okay?! Where are you?!" Silence. I put the phone back and rub my temples. Something feels... off.

"They? Who's they?" We all look at Larry with a 'really?' face. Todd whacks him in the back of the head.

"If she's taking about a 'they', it could be a group." Larry rubs the back of his head.

"This shit is so messed up. What could this mean?" I look at Larry.

"I don't know, but I need to find out." I head over to the door till someone grabs my arm. I turn to see Sal.

"Not without us."
